No problem. Glad I could help. That 0 size file thing frustrated me a lot when I first started trying to mod this game only like a year ago. If you take it from shared and then make changes to it you should be able to place it back in the s591(or w/e) and it should work and use your file instead of the generic one in shared

I'd like to learn more about how you do the stadiums in blender too
I still haven't gotten any blender stuff to save so that's not a strong area for me.
I've watched a bunch of Jaosming's youtube tutorials from ~4-5years ago but I'm not sure how they apply to new stadiums.

Anyway it is nice to see someone who been on this forum since 03 still modding and sharing ideas

Thanks for the info, sadly it has changed a lot so everything I knew from 2k12-14 days really no longer works, but I am reteaching my self this version of blender. If I can repay the favor with blender info let me know.

Here is a WIP of the lakers Great Western Forum, Got the jumbotron done almost need to your on the screen. I tried to add a LED from another team and rename it not working . Do i need to edit that in the roster with the Cheat Table ? I want to add misssing championship banners and retired unis and flags . But not sure if it is worth it due to the darkness of the arena. Will only be seen when spot light hit them. Should i keep going ?

open question to any one that has worked with blender faces / shoes what ever . Has any body used the paint vertex tool to brighten or darken a group of the vertex ?

To my knowledge you are venturing into uncharted territory.

If there are any users that have used vertex paint, they don't post thier findings publicly here.

I know there are some users who are very knowledgeable but they just browse the forums mostly.

if you know who they are please share this thread with them. Being able to paint vertex and load into game will help in the darkness or brightness of arenas or any part of a file. This is something I used a lot of the last gen of NBA Live games on PC. Or the arenas are still being affected by the shader files.

things are not as easy as 2k14 , but this is what you need to get newest verison of blender and follow this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkBP6WFvlIg

then get 7-zip of the arena iff file and then look for arena.scne file that the one you want to edit in blender. here a video its not for arenas but same concept

The Omni, Seattle Centre Coliseum, Miami Arena, Richfield Coliseum and Veterans Memorial coliseum would be awesome for 2k14!

no sorry , have not touched 2k14 in a few yrs, funny u ask me abt these arenas. Just got asked about these as well from some on else. you should reach out to the creator of this video he seems to have some that you need, good luck.

ok sorry for going M.I.A. on this thread got busy with life and roster project i have been working on. But not sure what else to do i have decent looking small arena done not sure what else to do to it. Here is a WIP video i just posted any thoughts on what i can add.

any idea of why that basket doesn't have the square on it? The glass is just plain. Also when I pulled this basket into a stadium before I tried to change the rim color but for some reason it also changed the backboard padding

Did you find any more of the things you were looking for inside the forum stadium?

No i did not find what i was looking for . The lack of a box i think is do to the file not have it in it. I am not sure but if you play a quick pick up pro am game i believe there is not box either.
And the rim and padding i think are the same texture but i my be wrong.
