At least he didn't have to sell his car or give his team any money to get to the NBA.

Fri Sep 17, 2004 2:55 am

oh and wat about that other aussie who won 3 nba championships as a starting centre for the chicago bulls

shane heal had a great 1st stint in the nba in 1996, but then he got injured. But u probably don't remember that since you were still wearing diapers.

He was playing for a team which was euroleague contender. They wouldnt want to give up their SG that easily.

Shane heal plays for a greek team you tool (not too sure if its euroleague)... the exact name of the team i'm not sure. But he doesn't play in the Australian national basketball league. Which isn't an amateur league you ignorant prick.

Er no Homer, the NBL is a professional league.

He was playing for a team which was euroleague contender. They wouldnt want to give up their SG that easily.

So he had to give them his car? Now that sounds amateur :?

Whatever Aussie cant even beat NZ. (we did this summer-twice)

Good one genius, we beat them in the Olympics. Where were Turkey during the Olympics?

he had a 3 years-4m $ worth contract at his club here.

i am not saying he is gonna be a star. i am just saying he will be a good shooter. comparing with Hedo he is much better 3pt shooter. And Hedo was top 10 last year at 3pt %.

an nba team is allowed to pay up to a max of 500 000 $ to buyout a player from a team he is contracted to.

Fuck off clown, how do you know? Have they played? No, so shut the fuck up.

Fri Sep 17, 2004 6:45 pm

did he really signed or is it a rumor? I can't find any news on nba.com/sonics (they aren't very quick on their own site, but the announcement is generally made on the following day), neither on ESPN or other NBA info sites

I put my money on Cutlery not being around too long, like that French guy, what was his name, Rigadeau?

Sat Sep 18, 2004 3:02 am

Another 2 minute player in a league :P

Sat Sep 18, 2004 7:28 am

you say he is a better 3 point shooter than hedo. i say you cant actually say that til he plays in the nba. its entirely different. basketball is almost all mental if you ask me and sometimes guys just dont stack up mentally well in the nba.
