Also, I think Lakers Shaq's dunk package was adjusted slightly. He seems to dunk more frequently in traffic (at least it's not like Magic Shaq, who's capable of windmill dunks).

That's good to hear. Eager to try that out.

All games are on Superstar difficulty. You face the All-Time Mavericks, Spurs, Cavs, Heat, and Warriors. I recommend you use your best cards (that aren't trials), this way you don't get blown out. Also, you might want to adjust your coach settings if you get stuck on the teams. I personally use tight coverage, and crash boards.

Thanks for the info and tip, shinron! Will start the challenge later. How long is each quarter? 5 minutes or 3 minutes?

Brought my A team and got my ass handed to me by the bulls. Once I was down 10-12 points, it just stayed there as I couldn't make up any ground

The game is much more difficult after the patch limiting inside scoring. Meanwhile the CPU hits everything inside still. Plus they just steal everything, it's impossible to get anything going. Kukoc lit me up inside and out. I'll have to stick pippen on him as master Thompson had a hard time staying with him

All games are 5 minute quarters, so make sure you control your own substitutions, because the coach will make questionable substitutions.

The Bulls and Warriors imo are the hardest teams of the challenges. The former has insane defense, and the latter has a prolific amount of shooters on their team. There is an easier way to deal with them; Master Larry Bird. He's insane when you run Pick and Pop with him at the 4.

I'll post the lineup I used after I complete the Carter challenge.

I played the challenge and got Wade...the trial version. I'm 0/7 with these Big Moments cards; knowing my luck, I'm probably not going to get a single permanent card.

Lol, I noticed they didn't photoshop the defender's hand out of Wade's image.

I've got a feeling I'll end up with the trial version myself. Still can't believe I managed to get the permanent Gasol card.

Meanwhile, prices on Magic are getting out of control.

People are desperate for coins at times, because I saw him going for around 150k earlier today. I managed to make some snipes earlier today, since a lot of people are distracted with the master challenges. I picked up Mark Price, Isiah Thomas, and Tim Hardaway (Warriors) for 10k each.

Yeah, that's just dumb. No one's going to buy that. I'd seen a Bird and Iverson up for 10 million coins as well
Does anyone know what the master Dr J card is like?

Ended up getting a short term Nikola Jokic card from the Dwyane Wade Big Moments challenge. I already have one, so I just traded it in for the 900 coins.

Doesn't look too different than his Nets card. Still wondering how Master Erving has a 59 3pt rating, while Ben Simmons is 0/13 from the perimeter, yet he has a 73 3pt rating. One thing I like about all of Erving's cards is the fact that you can put him at the 4, and he's still viable with his shot blocking.

Oh wow that's a lot of coins for cards I won't use. Might start dumping the ones I've collected so far.

There are some decent trade-in prices for those short term cards. Makes up for not being able to auction them off, especially when you have doubles.

Celtics legends part 2 as the final week of legends. They are Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek, Kevin McHale, Reggie Lewis, and Larry Bird (not sure if this is a duplicate, or his prime counterpart).

Good for EA for including Reggie Lewis, despite his short career (even though 2K does that as well).

Wouldn't mind a Larry Bird card, but I don't think I'll be that lucky. It'd be nice if they have some encore packs, or other means of grabbing Legends if you missed out the first time.

Cool, Reggie Lewis. Guess I really don't know much about him as he died before I started following the nba with Live 95

Glad to see they at least match you up with updated teams in totw challenges. Wonder if they'll do more throwback challenges to make up for the legends

For those who got Dywane Wade in the Big Moment Challenge, is the player model the same as the one in the main game or is it a younger version of Wade? Thanks.

Opened a pack, and got Reggie Lewis. It sucks because his stats are underwhelming (especially with his 75 mid range rating), and I see him going for around 7k.

The new Larry Bird is a 97 OVR btw.

You missed out on a really good player. Silent assassin.

As good as he was from mid range/slashing, he was even better on defense. Died in his prime, really sad. Look up some games from Reggie, you won't be disappointed.

People have pointed out that he moves kind of like Durant, I agree. The way he effortlessly moves about the court, and moves on drives, it's similar to KD.
"I don't know if I practiced more than anybody, but I sure practiced enough. I still wonder if somebody - somewhere - was practicing more than me." - Larry Bird

I got Bill Russel and Reggie Lewis. REally hoping to get Bird. I'm really not lucky with the legends pack.

I'll save my coins this week. Just had a thought: maybe those "extra" throwback players we've seen elsewhere in the game will be big moments players? I hope not.
