Look at Dee's list - we can agree to disagree about the GOAT, but I can tell the dude knows his stuff. For me, any top 10-15 list without the three great centers (Wilt, Russell, Kareem) plus Oscar & West isn't legit.
As for Rick Barry, people don't realize how great he was because he was suck a jerk. I remember this quote about Barry from an NBA Lifer - "the only difference between Rick Barry and Larry Bird is people liked Larry Bird". And of course, I still remember his "watermelon grin" comment to Bill Russell.
