With all of these sons of guys you grew up watching in the 90s? Gary Payton, Tim Hardaway, Glenn Robinson, Glen Rice, the Grants, Ed Davis, sabonis, lol almost forgot Steph Curry

Looks like we have Jaren Jackson and Gary Trent coming soon

Yeah, it's crazy. Outside of Curry, who do you think the best is out of all of them?

I think Sabonis is turning into a fine player, but Tim Hardaway Jr may have the edge.

I felt like sauru when I saw a thread asking which three athletes are the best you've seen growing up.

Most of the respondents said they have never seen Jordan play, even Wizards Jordan.

It was the first time I gripped the handle of my walking cane so tight out of anger and regret.

Don't you kids feel old actually when you actually play a pick up game?

I mean can Jao still dunk without knees going side ways? Can Jao still block grade 7 girls? Can menopeusses still dunk on a 8' rim? Does sauru still dominate seniors sunday wheelchair ball league?

I started following the NBA in 1969, the Knicks championship season. Thinking of all the careers I've seen makes me feel real old.

Jeffx has most of us beat, I'd say!

But yeah, definitely. Seeing the sons of players you grew up watching make it to the NBA, as well as a couple of generations of players retiring, players you grew up watching taking coaching and front office positions and celebrating their 50th (or 60th!) birthdays...it makes you realise time has flown. It's been twenty years since the Bulls' last championship; it seemed an overwhelming thought ten years ago when it had been a decade since The Last Dance.

The Lakers and Heat had seats available, too. I'll gladly leave them for unprincipled bandwagoners.

45 years since I last saw a championship at the Garden, Andrew. Given the ineptness of our owner & front office, I'll be dead and buried before they win another trophy, When that day happens, I want you and the NLSC old timers to have a drink in my honor.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Lebron potentially interested in signing with Knicks at one point? There was one season I recall in which they made a couple of moves to clear cap space but problem was they had way too many bad contracts. Remember when they were obsessed with overpaying for unproven big men, lol.

Jalen Rose insisted that LeBron and Bosh were going to the Knicks in 2010. That's about it.

But it wasn't all false. Thing is I would like to believe that Heat had more to offer than Knicks at the end of the day.

After Marbury era, I remember the Knicks playing so well with Gallinari and bunch other above average players. Then still played well with Amare Stoudemire as a centerpiece. Things fell apart with Melo in town. Lin seemed to be a hero for a short period. Now this, Porzinigis kid... What should have been done differently?

Perhaps, it's time to press a reset button and follow hinkieology 101.

Lin should've been the hero but melo Smith and woodson were haters. Dantoni quitting was the beginning of the end for lin

The knee injury didn't help matters either. That halted Linsanity before the season was even over.

All of you cats should read this....it's EXACTLY what's wrong with Knicks management. It's the complete opposite of what the Spurs do.

Just read lebrons son is already 13 years old so if LeBron is still playing at 40, he'll have the chance to play with or against his own son in the NBA

I'm two months older than LeBron, so I don't really want to think about him turning 40.

It's been a while since we've spoken at length outside of a quick birthday message and whatnot on Facebook. Probably when he did the segment for the 100th episode of our podcast.

Wouldn't be surprised if at some point he takes a 1 year break or something and then, comes back for his final season to face his son.
