As of right now, yes. I kept the likenesses of players that didn't have unhide able tattoos or excessive facial hair, but did change names. But its just easier to start with a blank canvas. Being a High School roster and a state based roster, its going to be hard to get a large amount of likenesses to be accurate because finding team pictures is difficult by itself through Internet searches. Individual name searches combined with the High School has yielded some pictures for the higher rated state players. But this year, at least on the national level, I think there are only 4 Indiana High School players who are rated on rivals top 150 for 2018, fewer for 2019, and less on 2020. I have put in some research for season previews through the Indy Star, to get a better idea of which players are expected to be contributors for the top 15 Indianapolis schools, and also another that covered the 4A level Sectional teams. So eventually, I am going to be able to rename many of the players, adding in accurate to roster specific heights, and weights for the rosters available on Max Preps, which is most of the teams I have already created designs for. But there will be a lot of even those players who I will have no ability to get hair, skin color, and facial likenesses anything more than a best guess based on the name. However, with the increase of attention in recruiting for college basketball, there are many videos available of highlights available that I can utilize to help make things more accurate. But at first, its going to be mostly fictional, until I get through making the player ratings and tendencies complete. I do not expect adapting real names, numbers, height and weight of actual players to take extraordinarily long, but they probably won't be done in the first wave. I am more interested in getting the feel of High School basketball first, and then adding the available accurate details later. Aside from the 15 to 20 players that I have added to my created player list that are ready to plug in as soon as the players are transferred.
