Since they're scoring the Raw vs Smackdown match outcomes, AJ is definitely losing this one.

I thought they did a good job making AJ look awesome, at the very least. Can't get enough of him, man. He's just too good.

I do too. I think AJ is the best the WWE has now. And the outcome of the match might have Jinder getting the title back on Smackdown.

I hope not. Jinder was a bust as a champion, probably the worst push since JBL back in the day. WWE needs to pull the plug on that idea. If they didn't have confidence in him to carry his weight in a big match with Lesnar at Survivor Series, he shouldn't be in the world title picture.

Also, of course HHH is one of the survivors.

Was cool to see some matchups we haven't seen and won't see again for a long time, even for a brief moment. Finn vs. Shin. Kurt getting in there. Only thing that would've made it better would've been AJ in there vs. Kurt & Finn

It's funny because when I used to watch TNA back in the like 2008, I really didn't like him at all. That carried all the way to his WWE debut where I gave him a chance and he's really grown on me. Really loving the stuff he's doing now. Sucks he's only got a few years left in him

If there was an impending armageddon via asteroid, I wouldn't be surprised if he survived that too, taking the asteroid and burying it along with all the other wrestlers to get him to the top.

I was reading some articles about his involvement in the Montreal Screwjob. The narrative has always been Vince & Shawn, mostly Vince, but apparently HHH had a big part in it. Anything to get to the top. He was a brown-noser from the beginning

Anyone else finding themselves disinterested in every single story line going on right now? I guess they're just slowly grinding towards the Rumble, when things will pick up heading towards Mania, but I'm just not invested in really any arc that's going on right now. There's some entertaining characters, but it's as if they're running in slow motion from a story telling standpoint, and I just don't care.

WOKEN Matt Hardy is promising. It's a chance for him to use the BROKEN/WOKEN gimmick in front of a bigger audience, and it's definitely over with the crowd.

His current angle with Wyatt has potential, a clash of two characters that are kind of out there. Wyatt's character has definitely been damaged, however. People often point to the losses, and that doesn't help, but the real problem is that he has no real direction or purpose. His generically creepy promos grabbed people's attention when he debuted the character, but they've never really gone anywhere. They don't make sense, and not in a good cryptic kind of way. His promos don't have any logic or meaning; they just try to get by on sounding creepy and sinister. Perhaps a feud with WOKEN Matt will help, but as long as his character is directionless and his promos generic creepy word salad, it's hard to get invested in his angles.

Yeah nothing is really interesting to me at the moment. Same women's invasion angle on both brands and the titles don't seem to be going anywhere. Not really doing much with Nakamura and feuds on both brands seem meaningless. Feels like each week they are looking for reasons to make matches to entertain the live crowd but no real advancement in the story

When the hardys came over I was still entertained by the weirdness of the broken character but honestly so much time has passed that the novelty has worn off for me and I'm looking forward to woken just because it's different from what they are doing right now. Here's to hoping that it catches on and they let Matt run with it and give him more time.

Still waiting on itami to join 205 live and hitting the gts on everybody

And of course, the Universal Championship is barely on TV because Brock Lesnar holds it. They can claim it makes it more special, but it really just makes it an afterthought.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Also the women's belt and until recently the IC belt were essentially stuck the only belts that were really featured were the tag titles

Ronda Rousey happening is apparently serious now, maybe a Rumble debut.

I was reading an article about this and a good point is the big gaps between PPVs now. They just had one for Raw but they won't have one for a while since the next one is a SD one so they feel like they have to have filler until the build up for the next one

We saw some of that during the initial brand split as well. Filler instead of lengthier, engaging angles.

It marks a nice change from the usual "HHH cuts a promo for 10 hours straight".

Some very good matches tonight. Entertaining. Like they just gave the performers time and let them work. A pleasant surprise.

I'm really enjoying this rusev day gimmick. It's hilarious. That tag match was a mess at first but turned out to be pretty good. The triple threat was good as well. Not what I expected.
Pretty entertaining match with special referees, though that's pretty much the only way they could've done that match

Rusev's a great talent. He was kind of hurt by the trite "undefeated monster heel" push early on, because there's nowhere to go but down from there, and characters often end up looking weaker as a result. He's entertaining though, so he's survived it. A mix of good in-ring skills, athleticism, a massive physique, and charisma has seen him through some shaky booking.

Cameos from Trish Stratus and Lita would be pretty cool, and in line with the idea of surprise entrants in the men's Rumble.

You could certainly justify allowing hall of famers like that to join given the historic moment

Holy shit NXT. I thought the Ohno/Dream and Moon/Baszler matches were weak, but boy did the Extreme Rules and main event made up for it.

I like Velveteen dream for some reason. Even before when he was a bit more ambiguous. Obviously influenced by Prince and a bit of Goldust both who I am fans of

Main event was crazy. It was a fairly long match or it at least seemed like it and I'd say was the best one on one match I've seen since nakamuras debut
