also, if you rename the 3d logos/3d mirror logos to the 2d logo names (logo004_3d... renamed to logo004), then they will be in place of all the 2d logos in the game.

anyways, they work in the scoreboards, and they can be scaled as large or small as you want.
the espn scoreboard is a bit plain for them, i think they're super fancy. they'd be great centerpieces to a custom scoreboard. Especially since they can be scaled as large as you want.
either vertical or horizontal scoreboard would work if built around them. a quick example... https://s1.postimg.org/1dx5dhtg8f/scoreboard1.jpg that scoreboard would look great with 3d logos. or a custom one that somebody draws up.
Anyways, i'm horrible with texture work, but if somebody in the coummunity makes up a scoreboard mockup revolving around the 3d logos, and posts a scoreboard background texture, then its something we could work on.
sadly, there is no way to gaurantee the away team with the 3d angle, and the home team with the 3dmirror angle, thus achieving perfect symmetry, but they still could be good with proper scale/placement/ background design implementation.
something to think about.

Hi all.
To make things a bit more easy for watermarks i made a full screen watermark.
No need to hex edit enything to place the watermark where you want.
For now works best for 2560x1440 resolution. Instructions included in readme file.
I am still trying to remove transparensy from watermark. Can anyone help with that?

Hey Dee what Roster are you using for Reggie Miller? Did you come out with a all-time roster for 2k18?

Dee4Three wrote:I made it more like the actual one, I gave it a darker transparency behind the score, as well as moved the dark spot behind the shot clock.

Clearly these screenshots are from 2K17, but you get the point.

It's up to Bongo if he wants to release the scoreboard for 2K17 and 2K18 with my edits. Amazing job to him with the hex editing part, seriously awesome. It's great that we have more people tackling scoreboards, you guys are really talented!

I also made a watermark (Screenshots after the first one). Bongo moved it to the top left of the screen, see screenshots here https://imgur.com/a/qNXD

Hi all.
I find it really hard to remove transparency from the watermark in game.
exrxixxx, i think i used a bit your method like back in 2k14 http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=153&t=93390
to make a full screen watermark but no luck with the transparency. I tryed a lot of things but nothing worked.
I am going to keep trying but i really need your help with that. I appreciate any help.

Hey guys, before we have solved the logo automation problem, I will write a short tutorial on the evening how to implement the new original ESPN logos manually in the ESPN SCOREBOARD.

### TUTORIAL : HOW TO USE THE NEW ESPN LOGOS IN THE ESPN SCOREBOARD AS MANUAL SOLUTION ###

I attached you here all new logos and the "clean" ESPN Scoreboard. PLease download this first.

Step 1:

Choose the file newscorebug.iff and rename it to newscorebug.zip

Step 2:

Open the newscorebug.zip and extract the content to a folder "newscorebug"
https://img3.picload.org/image/drgwriiw/step4.jpg[/img]

Step 3:

go into this folder a open the file ( you can open dds files with paint.net or with gimp or photoshop with dds plugin) which is marked in the picture:

Image

Step 4:

As you see this ESPN Scoreboard...

Image

go to the folder where you put in the teamlogos and choose two which you wanna insert (in my example it is Detroit and Minnesota). Open a jpg and mark and copy it

Image

Then go back to the ESPN Scoreboard dds file and mark with the magic stick , as you can see in the next picture....

Image

Then insert the first team logo direct in the selection. Repeat this step with the second team logo.

Image

Step 5:

Save the file back into the newscorebug folder. Then Mark all files in the newscorebug folder and pack them into a newscorebug.zip

Image

Step 6:

Rename this zip into newscorbug.iff

Step 7:

Copy the newscorbug.iff into the modded folder and start your game:

Image

Enjoy it.

We are working actually on the resolution and sizing for the teamlogos automatic solution. Hope we can solve that problem and then it will work automatically like in 2k14.

Think it would be possible for a home team to call on the home team color bars and away team call on the away team colors automated for the the scoreboard?

I.E.: bulls home = red bg / bulls away = black bg and each team has its corresponding main color and secondary obviously. Or have a second version with each teams secondary color if possible! Can't wait to try out the big release! This has been a great thread to follow along. Real good stuff!
