I've toyed around with it and it looks like we can't use it in PlayNow. I might be doing something wrong or maybe it requires all teams to have the minimum players so it'll work.

Also interesting to note that some of these teams have unused uniforms so it could open the door for extra uniform mods.

I had the same problem. When I went to play now I couldnt find TGs roster. Then I went to create roster and the roster was there so I manually saved unlocked hidden roster for him.Still couldnt find his/mine locally saved roster in Play now. Then I dont know if I restarted the game and my locally saved hidden roster is there and I player with 2K/My career teams in Play now. They used Golden State arena.

While there are more experienced people on here who know more about the specifics and would probably better answer this question than myself, I can do my best.

This happened to me as well. I found that I did not edit the text in the hair_01.SCNE file correctly. I went into Notepad to delete the unnecessary LOD information within it and to locate the corresponding .model file that I needed, but did not delete everything that I was supposed to.

I would double check that you are doing everything right with the .SCNE file prior to editing the 3d model in blender. I found this video by TGSoGood helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEjFguA9b4s

He goes over what I am referencing from about the 5:05-7:20 minute mark. Once I got this part right, I then dragged the saved .SCNE file into the 7zip archive where I first got the files and replaced the original .SCNE file. This solved the problem for me and I was able to see my edited player in the game.

Hope this helps,

Trevor

@TGsoGood

I want to share a roster for offline guys too....(I will upload on 2kshare of course)...why are you sharing just Roster002? Isn't necessary to share the whole folder too?

Image

Using 7-zip it's only 20mb.......

MauMau you should not share the entire folder. That is where all of YOUR saves are. If someone overwrites their entire folder with yours, good luck to them. They will likely lose all of their save files including their mycareer progress.

Ler me explain how the saves work. You can simply rename Roster002 to overwrite any rosterxxx you have and it will work as long as you restart the game first.

Lastlty, "Offline" = pirated. So why would we even be discussing that? Sharing the physical roster file does not mean it has to be solely for pirated version of the game. Eventually 2K18 servers will go away so I wanted to make sure to upload the roster to NLSC. My decision had nothing to do with "offline" people that illegally steal the game.

For anyone reading this post, please do not ask me anything about "offline" version of game. That is just code for pirated version.

Not sure why you would want to get one of the retro stadiums in there. Look at the dornas in the video below. I would think that you want a current stadium, with just the dorna art edited. The table looks the same length as present day.

I think we should go for accurate instead of different, just my opinion. The lighting on the retro stadiums are also not accurate and just horrible all around.

My opinion is that we should use a current stadium, but with edited dornas (because the table is the same length anyway), and just make it retro accurate. The retro stadiums kill me, they look horrible.

You can't do this with many stadiums, a lot of the stuff in those current stadiums are inaccurate for the part in time. For example stanchions, backboards, technology used in the stadium like computers, LED displays. If anything that just makes it even more innacurate.

Makes sense, I didn't even think of the hoops themselves, or Tissot, or anything like that.

Good points by both of you.

Bro just a question; let's say we want to make 94-95 Knicks jersey compatible with "Nike" jersey model....other than change .RDAT file we need to remap UV?

That's all?
