Thank you for this... I will do some testing and post screenshots.

TGsoGood, could you test this player attributes table as well? At the moment, only the attributes can be cloned (except the durability ones). If this is working fine, I'll resume this project.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The edit player table is working for me. Thanks. This is exactly what I needed to begin creating "Created Player Pools" based on season
In the screenshot below you will see that the attributes have been cloned. Great work.

I'm glad it's working. I will keep adding stuff to the table. Hopefully we manage to clone players entirely in the future (including cyberface, portrait, accessories, ratings and so on).

A few notes.
I load up the cheat table
I go into edit player change the values.
Exit edit player screen and the attributes are updated.

When copying I do the following
I load up the cheat table
I go into edit player, freeze the values in cheat engine.
Exit edit player screen and then go to player that I want to clone attributes to.
Go into edit player
immediately exit, choose "accept changes and return"
Then I unfreeze all values and proceed to repeat as necessary.

I discovered yesterday that it's possible to play 5v5 on that small Ruffles court/arena, but it can't be changed on the arenas/teams table yet.

I uploaded the version 1.0 of the Arena/Team table to the Downloads section. The link is on the first post. Thanks for testing it out TGsoGood.

Can you assign portraits via CE?

Yes but you need to find the memory address.

Honestly just about everything can be changed through CE, it just takes research to find the values.
Most of the chinese trainers were made by using cheat engine.

Carolus below is the link to the 2k17 cheat table (for player info and attributes in the edit screen) if you need a reference. The only thing it was missing was tendencies.

I have added first name, lastname, cf id, real nickname, and CAP options to cheat engine table.

I have located values for badges, animations, and shoes also. I will try toadd that to the cheat table.

Should now be able to create created players without computer using a nick name. Testing is needed.

A question: let's say I want to give classic 99 Knicks a custom arena like s999.iff (by default they use s014 which is current Knicks arena).....can I use that number or must be a sxxx present in the manifest file?

Did you use some new pointers or you wrote the addresses relative to the main pointer?

I haven't touched on those tables since I uploaded them here (trying to change animations right now), but I found floaters for weight, height and wingspan (even though this one doesn't seem to be used at all by regular, non-created players). I found the portrait ID as well, and the byte responsible for wearing a headband.

We can merge all those findings into one single table.

When the next patch come out, we'll have to update the pointers too, unfortunately.

Do you guys need uniform table? Teams colors / socks / headband color....and so on....

Re: Roster editing using CE

Thu Sep 28, 2017 6:55 am

That'd be very nice. But indexing every uniform entry would demand a lot of work. Of course there must be an easier way to do so, but as I said previously, I'm just a novice yet.

Re: Roster editing using CE

Fri Sep 29, 2017 12:41 am

CarolusXCI, I did not use a new pointer. I used the same pointer so that I would not complicate things. The headband value will be very useful.
I also was going to find weight and height but I am glad you found it.

MauMau78,
If you have the ability to make a cheat table for uniforms and team colors that would be sick but it would take a lot of patience to finish.
