Sources: Clippers, Nuggets working on sign-and-trade to send Gallinari to LA on 3-year, $65M deal, but sides still working thru details.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks are seriously engaged in a possible three-team deal that would send Danilo Gallinari to the Clippers in a sign-and-trade, league sources told The Vertical.

In the trade’s latest form, the Hawks would receive guard Jamal Crawford, center Diamond Stone and a future first-round pick, league sources said. The trade has yet to be finalized, and could include additional players and teams, league sources said.

What an odd deal for the Clippers. Gallo is getting older and I think he plays the 4 much like Blake. Should be an interesting line up with DJ-Blake-Gallo front court. The latter two have trouble staying healthy so there's that.

Also Crawford might not want to stick around Atlanta so he could/might be bought out. Would be something if he goes and joins the Warriors.

Perhaps they figure Gallo can stretch the floor and replace some of the three-point shooting they're losing with Redick. Griffin has developed some range since entering the league and knocks down a few threes, but he's not a true stretch four.

Not a bad deal for the Clips. I can see them starting with Blake and Gallo and staggering their minutes if they have a decent option at the 3 off the bench. Probably a role for Sam Dekker, I guess.

Not a good deal if Clippers 2018 pick turns out to be valuable. While Clips have purty nice frontcourt SF/PF/C, their backcourt looks kinda troubling for now too.

Patrick Beverly isn't too bad, he's quite a defensive bulldog in that regard. They lost outside shooting with Reddick though. They'll probably start off with the Rivers/Beverly back court.

DeAndre Jordan at C, Beverley and Austin Rivers at the guard spots, with Blake and Gallinari as the only dependable offensive options.
Clippers gonna be ugly to watch, even uglier than Doc's worst Celtics teams.
