Just people looking for views from naive people, that's obviously 2K17.
EDIT: These videos have been floating around every year but for some reason this year has been showing us a lot more activity between Youtubers and PC mods. I've said this before, but I find it hilarious when I see 2K youtubers look at mods like the next big thing, when these have been around for years.

It's because of that big modded scoreboard in the thumbnail. It's fresh and new and people click the video in a heartbeat to check that "new NBA 2K18" stuff.
Dudes like this can get 400k views by lying, using clickbait.
I could never and will never use my youtube channel like this.

It's crazy how the accounts that are posting factual stuff, don't get views, but these BS videos run rampant with the views. Just shows where digital media is going. It's gonna get so bad they will eventually regulate it and it'll ruin it for everybody.
