2016 Rio Olympics

Other than basketball....anyone?

I'm so jealous of US Gymnast team, Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky... damn they are so successful. Both Biles and Ledecky are perfect, greatest female athletes I've ever seen in my life.

Ledecky's 800m race was an amazing performance. Watching her stay ahead of her own record time, and then continue to pull away from the line to beat it by two seconds, was incredible.

Well you got Djokovic and Nadal out. Today is the final, but NBC is gonna screw us over and not let us watch it.

Yup, but I'm really glad Delpo is in finals. I still remember when he won US Open, what an amazing finals that was...

I've watched an absolute ton of the Olympics and have loved it. Aside from the big prime time affairs of swimming/gymnastics, which I truly enjoy, I've absolutely loved watching Sevens Rugby, which is very fast and exciting, and Handball. Both are fast paced and real enjoyable to watch. I've also enjoyed popping in and out of archery, both men's and women's field hockey (the US Women's FH team has a player who was a former student of mine so it's great seeing her compete), and even some fencing. I always am very down as the Olympics approach, and think they'll stink, and every single time, hook, line, and sinker, I remember that I absolutely love watching them so much, both Winter and Summer.
