I always felt that it was pointless to have Rowan and Harper split from Wyatt. They weren't very interesting outside of the Wyatt stable. They even tried to push Rowan as a face and people forgot they were just booing him lol
Who is this new guy and where does he come from?

Ugh, that's a sickening botch.

And I agree again, splitting up the Wyatt Family was a perplexing and rather pointless move. Everything has a shelf life, including stables, but I don't think it had come anywhere near running its course.

It's weird, they are always quick to "capitalize" on something that unexpectedly strikes gold by managing to F it up

Vince seems to change his mind a lot. In his book, Bret Hart recalls that before he got his big singles push, and then his really big singles push, Vince went back and forth several times on splitting him up with The Anvil in the original Hart Foundation.

Bizarrely, watching it live it looked less like she landed on her head than it usually does when people take that move.

Some guys are perfect tertiary characters, and guys like Harper and Rowan fit that bill perfectly right now. They work well and are perfect for larger team matches, and fit their Wyatt roles perfectly. Have Bray sick them on people, do his bidding while being ghe cult leader, and it could he an amazing heel stable with a weird face-like cult following. There's fee legitimate big heel options right now, but you've got potential gold with Rollins, Wyatt, and Owens if they're just booked right and given the right angle.

Yep, yep, once again I have to agree. A lot of guys have potential and are good hands, but not everyone is cut out to be a main eventer, or a world champion. Not everyone needs a belt once they're elevated, either; Jake Roberts never held a championship in the WWF/WWE, yet he's still undoubtedly a legend, and was considered a legitimate threat to other big names of the time. Not that I'm against Wyatt getting a title reign of some kind at some point, but I also think he's capable of being one of those guys that looks like a big deal without the need to wear or even chase gold.

Agree with that. Doesn't need to be champ necessarily, bug a big heel who gets to work programs with all the major faces and be a legitimately thought of player by the "WWE Universe"

"Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig would be another great example of that. An all-time great, but he never did unseat Hogan for the WWF Championship. He was presented as a big deal however, and eventually won the IC title on multiple occasions.

I'd liken it to NBA players like Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing. They never won a championship, but they did have their shot with a Finals appearance, they made the Conference Finals a few times, they were perennial All-Stars, and performed well on the court. As such, they're Hall of Famers, and held in high regard. Translated to pro wrestling, that essentially means booking a worker so they're always in the hunt, always credible, always a threat, maybe a midcard or tag team champion, but they just don't win the ultimate prize. That parallels athletes in real sports who garner many accolades and are highly successful, but don't ever get over the hump to win it all.

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka Arrested, Charged With Murder

The Morning Call is reporting that Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is being charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter for the death of his girlfriend in May 1983.

Snuka was arrested Tuesday morning at his home in New Jersey and arraigned later in the afternoon. He was sent to county jail under $100,000 bail.

Leigh Country District Attorney Jim Martin re-opened the case last year after an investigation by The Morning Call raised questions about the death of Snuka’s girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, in May 1983. A never-before-seen autopsy report that labeled the case a homicide was uncovered as part of that investigation.

I'd heard about that before, looks like it's finally coming to a head. Let's see if WWE ends up distancing themselves from Snuka.

Del Rio beats Cena for the US title. In addition to being US champ, he is also AAA's World Champion.

Was a bit disappointed by the ending to the main event, but it was a pretty good match all the same. Not a bad show all around, though I can't say I'm that excited by the return of Alberto Del Rio. I felt he was a bit boring and kind of a flop despite the big pushes he got before, I don't think it'll be much different this time.

I don't really care too much, but I do find it a bit interesting that he is a champion for two different promotions at the same time.

Forgot all about the PPV and put it on just in time for the Main Event which I thought stunk.

I kinda get the impression that you automatically hate anything involving The Undertaker these days. ;)

I'm not saying it was the best match ever, Hell in a Cell or otherwise, but it hardly stunk.

I actually generally really love Brock matches, though, and I was just really unimpressed with him during it. But you're right, it could be my anti-Taker sentiment pre-judging.

This.

I really think we can put Cena's US title run down as a failure now, from a booking perspective. We got some amazing matches and moments out of it, but the program with Rollins just ended up making Rollins look even worse than the rest of his booking already was, and the way it's ended is just so very meh. Needed to be used to give someone a rub. Zayn, Owens, Cesaro, Neville, Barrett, anyone in New Day*, Breeze, Balor, Itami...I don't actually know that many main-roster names that could use the bump; I haven't watched Raw in months.

With the talent they have, it's just depressing to see that they can't put on a better show. And with all the indy guys (and girls) moving up to the main roster, NXT is taking a serious quality drop.

*Possibly except Kofi, just because he's spun his wheels with/around the midcard belts for so much of his career
