..what exactly was the motive behind the Bobcats not picking Juan Dixon off the list? Now I know I'm glad that he's still with the Wizards but he makes merely $1 million this year which is his last on the contract. Wouldn't have been it smarter to pick this guy who has consistantly shown flashes of his talent rather than a scrub?

If the Bobcats picked him up, he could of easily become their second top player, next to Emeka Okafor (considering if he's not a bust). I think even with horrible teammates, he might of had a chance to average more than 15ppg this year and at least help the Bobcats move on to a better future.

Maybe because he sucks? Because he's a 6'3 SG?

Iverson is 6'0" and I never knew Lonnie Baxter was a better player than Juan Dixon.

well you can't really say because they play different positions

I think Dixon is the far superior talent when compared to Baxter. I was stumped they passed on Dixon (as well as Bell) to take Baxter and Smith...but I guess they didn't feel grabbing little guys was important at this stage...

Well the reason is cap space. Bernie has the hots for capspace he won't use..

The Bobcats didn't really seem interested in taking many guards in the expansion draft. As far as Dixon goes, I guess the Bobcats simply weren't interested in an undersized shooting guard.

Juan DIxon will be the bomb if he gets PT...too bad he wont though

if he was better he would get the PT

Dixon has capabilities of scoring 20 a night but he rarely gets playing time because of Hughes and Arenas.

I still think it was a mistake of the Bobcats not picking him up, because he only makes around $1 million this season and it's his final year also. They could of easily let him go if he didn't do a good job this year. It wouldn't hurt the Bobcats to at least get some talent to surround Okafor.
