Raptors home jersey red headband, red accessories, white socks & shoes
Sixers alternate jersey red accessories, white socks & shoes
Not just that, the Lakers started wearing white legwear for their alternate. I might have to rethink my entire color system. I might make it like this:
Armwear = Team Color 1
Legwear = Team Color 2
This allows the players to have compatible colors if they get traded to different teams. Let's be more specific and give an example, Cleveland Cavaliers, (1) indicates that the first color combination slot uses that color, (2) indicates that another slot uses this color.
-White Jersey-
Headband Color = White (1) / Red (2)
Armwear Color = White (1) / Red (2)
Legwear Color = Black (1 & 2)
Socks & Shoes = White (1 & 2)
-Red Jersey-
Headband Color = Yellow
Armwear Color = Black
Legwear Color = Black
Socks & Shoes = Black
-Yellow Jersey
Headband Color = Red (1) / Red (2) / White (3)
Armwear Color = Red (1) / Red (2) / White (3)
Legwear Color = Black (1, 2 & 3)
Socks & Shoes = Black (1) / White (2 & 3)
As you can see, they ALWAYS wear Black leg sleeves/knee pads. So naturally, I assigned black to their accessories right? But what if Kyrie gets traded to the Denver Nuggets that always use white legwear for Home games? Irving would be the only player without white knee sleeves and would just look wrong. Therefore, I have decided to use this system to make everything compatible and make it a lot better.
One of the problems I encountered was when I initially traded J.R. Smith to the Cavs where he used Team Color 1 for his sleeves when the Cavs used Team Color 2 for THEIR sleeves so he got the wrong accessory color. I won't allow this to affect the shoes though because we can edit the shoe base color anyway.
I've been thinking that I may not be doing these releases whenever I feel like it, maybe something a little more structured like a weekly update instead of random ones? But I don't want to feel obliged to update in a week that has no transactions anyway and rotations take WAY too long to do.
The PBA 2K14 launch was very successful though and part of the reason may be the comprehensive website that I developed for the mod. I did create a Facebook page for my mods but nobody seems to click it, and I'm too lazy to be active there and post the same updates here. So I've been thinking, should I put up a site for the NBA mods I do as well? Sort of like everything I have would be there. I can put up more comprehensive screenshots (especially for the multi-color gear combinations since some people have no clue what are the changes when another jersey slot pops up. It might do the roster more justice with more defined features but I don't think it would catch on like the PBA site because NBA 2K14 is dying, and everyone on NLSC is smart enough to know how to download these updates anyway.
Also, I found out a schedule glitch. I see the Clippers having 31 games and Spurs having 81 games for some reason. I noticed that the Order of the games in RED MC isn't really correct and the time isn't either. I might redo them all myself just to make sure I fix this since I wasn't the one who did the schedule and whoever made it didn't do it right (weird how nobody pointed this out)
To-Do List:
-Implement New Gear Color System
-Remake 2014-2015 NBA Schedule
-Account for all of Irving9000's comments
-Add all of chuajefry's color combinations
-Do the Jeff Green trade
-Implement theyano!'s new playbooks
-Update PBA 2K14 from v4.1 to v4.2
I want to mention that the new gameplay hasn't been given much credit lately, you guys should notice that the gameplay is a lot better now thanks to theyano!'s efforts.
