Welp, Roman Reigns had emergency surgery to fix a hernia and will be out 2-3 months.

I had the same surgery and I was back in baseball practice after a week. I bet he'll be back some time before the 4-6 weeks.

Baseball doesn't involve as much lifting as wrestling and not all hernias are the same.

I am a catcher though so it does involve a lot of strain in my legs and midsection. A LOT of strain

Would be a great way to bring back Punk if that's something that both sides were interested in doing. "You stole my move" storyline

Is it just me or is Sheamus's beard completely out of hand. Doesn't looked groomed at all.

He also should never have to be that person who's only existence is to get people over. I don't think he's won a ppv match since his return.

At least the main event was a little more competitive than SummerSlam, which it needed to be. The squash match achieved its purpose, but moving forward, Lesnar has to look dominant, but not completely invincible. With Cena finding a way to get in some offense and take control as the match continued, that story started to come together.

I understand why they went with the DQ ending, eliminating the need for either of them to take the fall, but it was still a poorly executed finish. Once again, a MITB contract is cashed-in-but-not-cashed-in on a technicality, and Rollins' delay was pretty obviously "stalling because the script says Cena recovers and interrupts my cash-in attempt". OK idea in theory, but not done well.

Sheamus/Cesaro was fun and the tag title match was a good opener. The Divas title match was alright I thought, a couple of decent spots with Nikki taking some hard bumps. Good to see Ambrose return to continue his feud with Rollins, though a real shame about Reigns' injury. Rusev/Henry was about as good as you could expect from them. I liked Jericho/Orton, but man, that was an obvious ending. No real complaints about Miz/Ziggler, except that the belt they're feuding over has been devalued too much over the years; perhaps they can help restore its prestige, now that we have the one world title. And of course, JBL's commentary was all over the place and annoying as usual.

If I were watching on PPV, I don't know that I'd feel I got my money's worth, but since I've got the Network, I liked it well enough. I'm not a fan of the way they carried out the ending of the main event, but I guess it sets up Cena/Rollins and allows Lesnar a couple of weeks off TV.

Incidentally, did you know that Night of Champions was sponsored by Mountain Dew, and the WWE Network is only $9.99?

Because of this, I am slowly getting inclined to watch more NXT.

Totally agree. Too bad Vince doesn't think so.

Tag match was entertaining, but yeah in a lot of matches you could hear them having conversations with each other which really ruins it for me. it's like c'mon guys, you are PROFESSIONALS. I loled so hard when Paige was trying to coordinate the superplex/powerbomb combo.

Not sure if it was Paige or Nikki but I definitely heard the "1, 2, 3..." count before the moves were delivered.
