Yeah, but don't forget that he's just a basic powerhouse wrestler. I believe that in th Shield, Ambrose or Rollins where the ones who deverves titles shots (Rollins will have one sooner or later thought)
And guys, what's the point with 9.99 ? Hulk Hogan talking about it for the oppening of Summerslam. Now Stephanie on Raw.. I don't want to pay 9.99 a month just to have them reminding me that I'm paying 9.99 a month for that !

Maybe on the network there are different versions of the shows where they censor out the network talk.

Knowing the new logo was coming in, there's no way they were going to bring in a new belt for a few months only to have to make this one now anyway, and just dropping the Big Gold would've been a bit weird. They stuck with two belts after the WCW/WWF unification for a while, too.

koberulz wrote:Watched the RVD-Cesaro match. Cesaro did Rolling Thunder into a double stomp, which the commentators missed because they were too busy shilling the Network ON A NETWORK-EXCLUSIVE SHOW. Then they cut away from the match to show an ad for the Network. Again, ON A NETWORK-EXCLUSIVE SHOW.

I blame Sin Cara. They probably put him in charge of script writing and hes been botching the hell out of the network ever since.
Fri Aug 22, 2014 9:54 am
Don't they also stream the kickoff match on YouTube as well? If they didn't this time, then yeah, pretty silly to be shilling the Network on something that you can only see if you've already got the Network, no doubt.

I hate Reigns, in the Shield and after, he's horrible to watch. He got something like 4 or 5 moves (Spear, Superman punch, samoan drop and his dropkick.. I just hoped that Orton punked kicked him at Summerslam... Ambrose and Rollins were good in the Shield and I think like you, they becomed good singles competitors. Sad that the matches always finish the same way (Money in the bank -> Ambrose very close to the win, Kane interrupt, Rollins wins/ Summerslam -> Ambrose very close to the win, Kane interrupt, chaos in the ring, Rollins wins)
I liked Reigns. they're grooming him to become a top babyface like cena who also uses 4 or 5 moves, so no big deal

Pretty sure the pre-shows went from being YouTube exclusives to Network exclusives once the latter came into existence. I don't think they have any sort of a deal with YouTube anymore.

I was under the impression they were still doing the YouTube streams, but I haven't really looked into it. If not...well, as we said, certainly defeats the purpose.

It's not like on WWE.com too ?

Maybe. As I said, I haven't really looked into it, but I recall them doing the pre-show on YouTube for a while there. If it is still available via those avenues, the Network advertising would make more sense.

Undertaker does the ice bucket challenge:

Was about to complain that the video was too dark to see then I remembered that it's the Undertaker. Partial kayfabe ftw.

NFL Player Thinks John Cena Was Injured at SummerSlamAdam Gettis believes that John Cena was injured during his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Gettis, an offensive lineman for the Washington Redskins, told Turnbuckle Weekly that he thinks Cena was injured based on the way he was acting.
"After that second suplex, you could just see it in his face," Gettis said. "He started turning red and he was holding his neck and he just had that glazed look over his eyes. I just knew after that it wasn't a good deal at all."
To be fair, nobody is used to seeing Cena actually sell.
You could hear him tell Lesnar "gimme a minute" at least twice. That's out of character for Cena. I mean the stalling part, not the talking so loud that the fans can hear him part.
Sun Aug 24, 2014 6:21 am
to be fair my wife was done after the 3rd suplex. Got the "like, he can still get hurt doing that right? I mean, he could land on his head wrong right? OMG"
Sun Aug 24, 2014 1:51 pm
There were several times on that match that Cena landed on the back his head.
Props to Brock for showing brute force on those suplexes. Literally threw Cena like a pillow.
The Shield boys main eventing Raw and Smackdown this week (Ambrose-Rollins on Raw; Reigns on Smackdown), and it's also Reigns' second straight Smackdown main event. They're really grooming them to go the distance.

Looks like Brock is just reckless, same way Undertaker got a concussion from him in Wrestlemania.

Damn that escalation, shite just got serious when the Legos came out.
WWE should have that. Hardcore match PG-era version.

Best. Finisher. Ever.
Guess Cena will win at Night Of Champions, it will be the perfect superman comeback... and he will be 16 world champion...
Is there's rumors about Batista's return ? He was supposed to do it before Summerslam since he stop for Guardians of the Galaxy...
Wed Aug 27, 2014 10:25 am
I'd be surprised if he goes over this soon. I still reckon Lesnar will hold the belt until Wrestlemania.
Wed Aug 27, 2014 10:50 am
Until April next year? I thought long title reigns have become obsolete now.
Wed Aug 27, 2014 12:59 pm
They've become rarer with quick title switches, but after the unification match, Orton was champ for 161 days. Cena held the WWE Championship for 133 days after beating The Rock at Wrestlemania 29. And of course, there was Punk's 434 day reign.

Read somewhere that Ryback and RVD would be gone for a while.
