Is it possible to make the shot clock show the whole time instead of just in the last 10 seconds?

I'm not a part of the team for this mod, however, I can offer some suggestions.

Game Crashes:

1. I'm not entirely sure, though, it could be something to do with the roster itself. Maybe checking the .dbf files and looking for some bad lines (a boring task) would help. I personally have no problem with any teams, though, I'm using my own custom rosters (in my signature).
I'm using the the roster(s) that came with the mod. I did use the NBA 08 Editor to re-order each teams depth chart to match the current one listed on Rotoworld.com's NBA page after I started the season file. Several players were traded to their new teams.

2. Just season mode? Or even in play now/all-star weekend? Could be an issue with the jerseys, are they extracted to the unihalf folder also? Yes season mode, I never tried the Play/Now/all-star weekend from the Main Menu. I do get a message when I click on the Rookie Game stating "There are not enough players on the roster to play the game". And the starting lineups are not viewable/selectable until the game starts, but then it crashes to desktop. As far as the unihalf folder, I followed the install to put the files where they belong , the mod runs great. I did see a posted gameplay pic of the Bobcats, I'll test the theory to see if they are playable from the Play Now menu!

3. This could most definitely be the (ai and anim folders, inside are an aiact.viv and other stuff). What animations are you using (Original, Tiger's, BAYAG's Superstar aiact etc)? I am using the NBA Live 14 animations.

4. This may very well be a game limitation, I don't think there's a way for the game to automatically select coaches. Only user created material can keep it updated in that regard. This is my first time playing a season in Live 08, So I was thinking the All-Star game's East head coach would have my team's head coach Mo Cheeks, because the Pistons have the best record in the East at the All-Star break in my season.

Cyberfaces:
1. Yeah, I'm certain they'll look into those and fix e'm when they can. I'm sure the team will look into it also, but I'm not sure if there is going to be another update for the mod.

The only one off thing I noticed is about the simmed game stats are way too high! Is there a fix to make them more realistic? I have 5 Center's/PF's who average 10 assists or better. 7 Players average a Triple-Double. Andre Drummond averages 31 pts, 9 rb, 2 ast, 1 blk, and he's not considered in the race for MVP in the league!?!

1. I would suggest manually checking some of the fields (or lines if you will) in the .dbfs for anything suspicious. Further than that I may not be able to help, you need to check if the Editor entered those values correctly.

2. If there are not enough players assigned, then that is definitely an issue with the players.dbf You need to assign players to those two teams manually, http://www.nba-live.com/nbalivewiki/ind ... ting_Guide

3. Simple solution(s), there are three possible problems: Court size, Jersey size, and much more likely than the earlier two animations. Use a different set of animations, I am using BAYAG's Superstar AIACT with no problems. Here: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=94439

4. Oh alright then, but I'm very sure the game cannot do that sort of thing. The developers weren't very dedicated, this is a ps2 port after all. But that's besides the point, I don't think a feature like that was implemented in older sport-simulation titles.

Cyberfaces:
1. Eh they'll come around eventually, it's not been that inactive.

On the simulated statistics issue... yes that has been a problem, what file(s) are you using? The one that came with the mod? I can only think of two possible temporary/partial fixes. Try out different plays.dbf's in your selected roster file, and try out different simengin.bin's which go to your tuning folder. Experiment with those and see what ones work best, I haven't been very successful myself though. Particularly because I use fictional rosters it takes away some of the stigma; my players don't reflect any real player so it's less painful so to speak. The best way I can explain it haha.

nba 08 works for me using wine on ubuntu, should this work as well?

It's a mod for NBA Live 08, so if you can run NBA Live 08, you should be fine.

sir i have a question, why is that the shoes that the players are wearing in the roster update is not accurate ?
can you please tell me how to make it the same as the first roster that the shoes of the players are accurate ?

Roster and shoes patch do not exactly match,please manually modified, the original author is no longer updated

sir looyh i got another question why is it that when i start my dynasty there are no games
and when i simulated it until the all start weekend the game crashes. any solutions ? thank again for the great mod sir

sorry in advance if this is a noob question. when i start a new dynasty mode the rosters reset to 2007 and the starting year also. does any one know how to fix this?

Select "No" for the 2007 Draft option to use the updated rosters. Note that the game will still start in the 2007/2008 season, we can't change that.

FANTASTIC Mod, top to bottom!

I have noticed one bug, though: statistics that pop up in game are half blocked by the ESPN score bar. For example, when it shows the field goal percentage of XXX @ YYY, you'll be able to see the FG% of the away team XXX, but not YYY since that is behind the score bar. Just a small, unimportant issue but I thought I should bring it up.

Hello....I managed to convert it to nba 07, but there are some arts that are not compatible...like main menu , loadbar.fsh, overlays~strtn5.big. Ive hex edit also the stats and plyrstats overlays positions and fonts...maybe sir can you help me convert those files in nba 07....thanks a lot for this mods it made my nba 07 alive again....more power....

when i play nba 08 with no mods ,graphics looks goods, i use 1024 x 768 resolution with all high settings ,now i use your mod ,then it looks blurry graphics ,so what i do now ?
is there any solution to it ,i do all neccessary steps to install.
