Missed that long-haired Ginobili. Time really flew so fast.

Indeed. I'm still waiting for that run Andrew promised. That bastard.

They should play game six as an exhibition for charity.

I can't take all the credit, of course. I had a higher power on my side, as all Bulls fans do. A somewhat sinister higher power, but a higher power nevertheless.

Just found it off Twitter...

Apparently it's from last year's NBA Finals, video by NBA TV. ( http://nbagif.tumblr.com/tagged/San-Antonio-Spurs )
Vidja: (sucky imo, don't know if it's the narrator voice or the music used is 30 Seconds to Mars)

Being racist places I understand Philly and Boston being in the bottom four with the Clippers having a racist owner, but Miami...

A very disappointing series. I'm just thankful it wasn't OKC that gave Miami this beating. Props to Popovich and Duncan. Duncan should have been the MVP imo.

BUT, the biggest shocker was the hatred level of Andrew towards LeBron. And he isn't even a Laker.

Miami lost that X factor where they could usually KEEP CALM and go get it. They needed a Mike Miller. Ray Allen could only do so much without that support. Oden and Beasley should have been given more minutes. Wade let the critics get to his head. He became what they were claiming he was, a knee-less starter. If he was his efficient self, there would still be a chance. There is still hope for Bosh. Really like how he only shoots 3s now. Hopefully that will get better throughout this offseason. LeBron played a tad less then his beast mode throughout the series. But he kinda fell into depression after the series became 2-1 which was just wrong from him. He is supposed to be the leader. A decent PG is a must now. And I don't agree with Wade coming off the bench. He still has that starter quality and mentality. And more importantly, he keeps the offense in a much needed rhythm which he can't do if he comes off the bench.

And Spurs were just like crazy good. Patty Mills performance in that last match was pretty much the summary of this series. Every starter and bench player dominating while Miami became the Cleveland Spurs beat in the finals, only with a much worse bench.

But as Riley said, "retool, not rebuild."

"Hatred"? OK then...

All jokes about jinxes aside, I posted that stuff because I half-believed it would actually happen. Granted, I was hoping that the Spurs would win, as I'm not a fan of the Heat (come on, Bulls fan here) and I wanted to see Duncan get a fifth ring, but it wasn't done out of "hatred". I don't like to think of myself as a superstitious person, but I was perhaps posting it in the hopes that it wouldn't. Like I said though, I kind of expected the Heat to make those runs and LeBron to go off for 50 at some point. We've seen it happen before, where it looks like Miami is possibly in trouble, but they come roaring back. And if LeBron had any kind of consistent help in the series, it might have happened.

Agreed.

I just pointed out to the fact that, I didn't see any of your naturally sorted posts in this thread like you usually do all the other times.

Sauru wrote:the heat should have lost last year too

Why? Even if you blame the Ray Allen 3, what about game 7? Heat were clearly the better team last year. And OKC with Westbrook would have been a better team last year than Spurs. They had the momentum which Spurs didn't. Spurs were pretty much the same as 2013(I don't get the Leonard craze in 2014, I still think Duncan is their best player), the Heat just went downhill. If they maintained the 2013 form, it would have been a three-peat.

The whole "lockout season, luck 3 pointer" is just lame imo. The Heat were clearly the better team and LeBron was clearly the best player in those 2 seasons. Which wasn't the case this season.

i disagree that the heat were the better team, i think the spurs were the better team but had some serious issues closing out games. they make a damn free throw and no one is talking about a ray allen 3 (which i am never going to call lucky because he is fucking ray allen) they are instead talking about how this team full of old timers just won back to back championships. however on a whole i think that last years heat championship is really the only valid one. even considering the spurs inability to close it out they earned that ring
