Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

That's not the same. Xavier having legs would be similar to Joker not having any knife marks on his face. Come on, you are not bothered by all those "goofs"?

Winter Soldier was okay. Better than the first one. But that depends on how high you set your bar for expectations.
The Amazing Spider-Man 1 felt like a cheap attempt to reboot the Spider-Man series. Nothing new, all cliches and blah blah. So, I don't really have much expectations for the 2nd one.
Thank you benji for providing that wonderful illustration. I wish there was a same one for DC.

I believe Warner owns all the DC characters still. Every film back to Batman in 1989 has been produced by Warner, actually all the Superman ones except IV were too. They even did Constantine and V for Vendetta.
Xavier had use of his legs at various periods in the comics. The Joker didn't have knife marks on his face UNTIL The Dark Knight.

I don't remember where or when I read the story of how Joker thought Batman shot him(cop posing as Batman) and cut his lips and tongue just to match the new Batman.
Or is that my subconscious mind making it up? That's quite possible as well.

"Three Ghosts of Batman", that was in 2008 after The Dark Knight promo materials came out and during the same time that the film did. I'm sure there were discussions within DC to match the Joker's appearance to the film.

I see.
All the previous Batman/Joker stuff I watched didn't have those scars. I thought it was used in an earlier or different version which they didn't use on the cartoons and TV shows, I didn't know Nolan made it up.

It's not Affleck as Batman that worries me. It's Zack Snyder and his "The visuals are more important than the story" directing style

they got the suit right imo but they are going for the wrong batman. they are using the dark knight returns batman but then following it up with a justice league movie. cant say i am a big fan of that

Title released:
Thu May 22, 2014 9:08 am
I like it well enough.
Thu May 22, 2014 10:55 am
Still not buying the logo. I also prefer it to just be "Dawn of Justice".
Thu May 22, 2014 11:01 am
I think you have to have Batman and Superman in the title somehow. "Dawn of Justice" could well be any generic action film.
Fri May 23, 2014 8:16 am
i think batman/superman would have been better than batman vs superman
i also find it funny that this is turning into a batman movie with other characters. it seems its all geared towards the bat right now
Fri May 23, 2014 8:21 am
Batman x Superman?
Fri May 23, 2014 9:35 am
SuperBat.
Fri May 23, 2014 11:47 am
Should've reversed the titles.
Dawn of Justice: Batman v Superman. Keeps the important names in the title, but keeps the specific movie title more prominant, and what its generally called by name.
Fri May 23, 2014 12:16 pm
Agreed.
Fri May 23, 2014 1:43 pm
Or:
"THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
AGAIN... Then Beats Up Superman"
Fri May 23, 2014 2:17 pm
The title would sure be hard to be messed by those occasional porn parodies.
