Xbox1 question - When the opponent stops playing????

Postby jfwells2288 on Sun Mar 02, 2014 3:01 pm

Just played a guy who was 2-0, but as soon as the game started he clearly had put his sticks down. After 10 violations or so I quit. Is there something I can do to prevent that from happening in the future? Thanks.

Not really. That's the problem with online gaming and a reason I still greatly prefer offline modes. Unfortunately, you will run into cheaters, cheesers and poor sports when playing online.

Wow that's pathetic. I've been playing various online games since 2006 and they all figured out a way to avoid this from happening (i.e. boot the opponent after a few violations), but they can't figure it out for NBA Live 2014 on XBOX ONE??? smh

Playing the computer is fun until you're up 30 at halftime.

It's the same with NBA 2K14, which again is why I still prefer offline play. Then again, modes like Dynasty/Association have always held more appeal for me anyway. At any rate, both games need to do a better job of punishing ragequitters and poor sports, no question.
