Thanks, Kidd plays behind you now. I figure that's why Denver's near the top of the Western Conference. But, you just came out of nowhere--I was suprided to see you on the All Star team--but hey-u deserved it waiting those 3 years. I guess Kidd taught you a lot.

I know you must be getting tired of me, but...

Mid Season suggests Anthony at the top of MVP cantidates...so I was wondering if you could enlighten me as to how James is doing?

About G. Parker too, please. Thnx. :D

this is easily the most exciting dynasty i have ever read, and i like to read them all. my only suggestion for your next one (2005) is that you use original rosters. i personally like that more as i tend to know who is playing where and i get to see how teams develop and some of the odd trades they might make.

of course you dont have to listen to me seeing as your dynasty is so popular, just a thought though.

from the anals of The Birdie Project: (more info)
Cocobee's Minnesota Timberwolves: 2009-10 Mid-season
Image
So, congrats Dwight Howard for being the Wolve's MVP with a weighted Birdie score of 17.57...somebody's gotta put Cocobee in place!

On a sidenote:

my only suggestion for your next one (2005) is that you use original rosters.

Well, it's the 2010 season. 174 1st Round players have since entered the league, not to mention who's already retired. So, eventually half a decade later, the league is going to look a bit different.

I guess what he saying is when he first started off. Because, he had a mixture of different players on his Hawks roster with KG and Carmelo and more. So I guess he meant start off with original rosters

You can't just demand a trade. What do you think this is, simulation style basketball game?

You're under contract, once you're a free-agent you're free to walk or sign where-ever you feel like it.

The management has never disrespected you in any which way thus saying "But Shaq did it" isn't a valid reason.

You will play out your contract. It's probably your last year anyways.

Hey cocobee, do you know how long I'm under contract for the Lakers? I was outright stripped of my beloved ROY award! I will now prove myself in the playoffs!

The reason why Cocobee is extremely busy is that he's having a hard time winning against the Lakers with Laker MVP Honor Glow…he keeps on losing so he has wait until he wins in order for him to post! We see how it is! Don't mess with your fellow Olympian now that I have players to back up my beloved Lakes!

Bring it on, Cocobee…Bring it on… Remember what happened in 2003? 2004? …oh yeh, I wasn't in the league yet.

I feel for you, but you just can't. Houston is not willing to just let you walk. You're no Shaq. :P

Why's G. Parker a bust?

9.3 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game & 2.6 assists per game is far from being a bust. He's a big man learning the game. Not much left from what he can learn. (Meaning not any good enough Centers left from him to learn from.)

You also have to take into account he's playing along side probably the best back-court in the league.

He was just behind Jordan, give the kid time. He's an important part for the future.

Perhaps Shaq could come out of retirement and be this kid's mentor.

*sigh* So because you can't get thru to him via PM, you just post it in his thread? It's not the first time it's happened, he's asked for you guys not to do it in his thread.

There is a patch request forum, just make a damn thread "Cocobee Gimme".

He's been away, that could be a reason as to why you haven't gotten a PM from him...

it'll be cool, doing the things that manley did, annoucing shoes, but say like coming out with like different colors for like XII's, cause i saw those black/green XII's, those a tight. just try it out.

Well he did have like this thing where he had an ad for jordan:

New York, NY : Atlanta Hawk's PG Cocobee will be displayed in Times Square starting this Monday in a new ad for Jordan Brand shoes. The ad will be displayed next to the world famous Sean John ad displaying Sean (P-Diddy) Combs in the heart of Times Square. When asked how he felt about being displayed for the world to see, Cocobee answered:" I like the ad because it's just not me, you see MJ too--it'll help when people are like, who the hell is that dude..but MJ looks cool." William Wallic of Team Nike USA, commented : "Cocobee is a great role model and has been a part of the Nike family since his rookie year. He is one of the top point guards in the league and the ad displays his passion for the game." We caught up with Steve Francis of the Bucks (who is sponsored by Reebok), who happens to be somewhat posterized in the ad about his impressions : Francis replied: " what ad?"

I will have to retire from this dynasty. Due to my unforgiving work schedule, my up coming engament planning, my up coming PC upgrade, and my FALL obession called Madden (especially) with multi-user franchise--I will have no time to update and give this dynasty the attention it deserves.

To the upcoming rookies, I apologize for cutting it short. But, I will convert all the 2004 faces for 2005.I promise.

You can rest assure that there will be a "Pictures are worth 1001.." dynasty for NBA Live 2005. I have it already in the mix--with a lot of fresh and new ideas.

I would like to thank everyone that contributed and replied to this thread and made it what it was. A special shout out to Cyriel, who kept me going and is a bright innovative patcher in his own right. I will always be a fan of his work!

For everyone that let me use there beautiful work to make the pics come to life with there great patches:

Thanks to:
JEN-made "my" cyberface come to life, can't wait for ur 2005 patches
Tony-simply the best!
Jowe-the best texture in the biz, plus the best jerseys to boot
Cyriel- kept it going, wonderful/creative patches from A-Z!
Pikss- great work as well
Dragon-did u see your socks? Where the hell is my NLSC chain?
Mikki-thanks for the patches
King James-took forever, but solid patches
Chetto-ur work just kept reaching a higher level after each release
Kev C- ur faces were very solid
Andy G-ur shoes are top notch
Steve-ur work has been in my game since 2000!
Dahl- shoes! shoes! practice court!Shoes! -all awesome, all the time!
Thug-one cool buff dude-can't wait for young MJ for Live 2005
Honor Glow-i hope ur still around for 2005, it's been a pleasure-i still send u my stats
& finally Andrew-for giving us this stage to display each of our talents!

anyone I missed and I used ur patch, sorry. I'll still be around.

Thanks and be on the look out for "My Dynasty 2005". I just hope people got a little enjoyment from this dynasty and I hope to bring that little enjoyment back for Live 2005.
