Just thinking about the good ol' days when we had true centers and their guards...

Some other duos to think about:
Marbury & KG
Reggie Miller & Rik Smits
Avery Johnson & Robinson
Mark Jackson & Ewing
Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (Chris Jackson) & Mutombo
Greg Anthony & Bryant Reeves

I was a big fan of the Payton and Kemp duo. They had a tight relationship and were best friends off the court.

I remember watching this NBA Jam video and they had a feature on the "Reignman". They had tons of clips of GP throwing the alley-oops from half court and Kemp throwing it down hard.

Yeah and plus, championships don't matter. You have GP and Kemp up there, did they win any championships? Kobe & Shaq were playing together in the 90's.

i loved the 90's

i voted Dream and Drexler. Dream was just AWESOME and that is an understatement. I also enjoyed watching KJ & Barkley as well as AJ & Robinson.

lets make it any 90's combo as well
Jordan and Pip obviously
Joe Dumars and G Hill
Tim Hardaway and Sprewell

My favourite duo is (not surprisingly) Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, though I enjoyed watching all of the duos and star players of the 90s including the guard/big man combos listed in the poll. As far as the poll goes, I'd have to say Kemp and Payton.

Fave duo would be a tie between MJ & Pippen and Shaq & Kobe.

In the poll, I voted for Zo & Tim Bug.

i think this thread is BIGMAN n GUARD combo. hehe

but yea, best is pip/jordan. but theyre both guards, well pip can play small, but i like him at pg. mismatch all the way.

i wont forget when he just killed m.jackson n stockton ahhaha

Definitely Payton/Kemp. Close seconds are Mugsey/Zo and Penny/Shaq.
