After all hope u will change your description.

Yes, you were right about the logos & faces although initially you forgot to mention we have to download the current season (2014) pack. Anyway, I deleted that from my review.
But I checked the ratings in detail and I must say if those are taken from the 2K12 "famous" multiple seasons pack, they are far from being realistic. On your 99-00 roster every player is 70 in FT and about 80 for inside shot, they all have huge potential etc. There are too many aspects to mention, bottom line is not much in the player ratings is personalized for each separate player which for me - and other I dare to say experts in the retro seasons - has not much to do with the realism we are expecting from these mods to "re-enact" some of the battles from the past we have seen live when we were young.
This is my opinion and please respect it as much as I respect your work - and I said you did a good job overall! I might start changing the ratings for every player in the future but right now I am busy with my life. I did the same thing for the 1996-1997 mod for 2K11 and it took...months, so I don't think I am gonna do it again. Plus there are different formulas for 2K13 vs. 2K11, no one really knows which are the best...

Now i read it. +1 years pro? wtf are u talking about? In nba 2k there is no 0 year or rookie year, its just first season, cmon dude u are really not fair. Another thing, u delete opinion about miising logos but u post retromans roster is graphical ok and mine's not? its simple unfair. I dont care if u think like this, but please do not post your wrong thoughts because some people read it and make opinion.

Yes, every player in the roster file has one year more experience than he had in that actual season in 1999. Check the stats at nba reference ffs and stop talking shit! And there is actually 0 experience in REDitor editing for 2K13 and it also shows up in the game for players who have no experience/they are in their 1st season! I did this for every rookie in the 2001 season for the Retroman's 2001-2002 mod, I always speak up based on facts. If you don't believe you can put 0 in "Years" me download my patch from this thread and check for yourself. The fact you didn't know about this actually proves me a lot of things about your editing habits but I am not gonna trash anything to give you any (negative) self-satisfaction. You obviously like to get into long debates with people and I still don't understand why are you so uptight and against Retroman but that is your business, I don't care.
skoadam wrote:I can agree with u but hey, ft is overrated in 2k13, simulate season and u will see whats happen, check players ft%, not always numbers means something is bad. Do you know that % from the paint in whole history of league is about 50%? Ofc there is guys like Shaq, Zo, Olajuwon, Duncan and other all stars, but hey not everybody will have 90-100 rating from the paint..cmon u want score 130-150? Dont worry they will make easy shots, but there will be many missed shots when contested.
skoadam wrote:Did u notice that i include tendencies for every player? Really no offence, u can think that my job is good overall, but please check details, like specific faces for young versions, rotations, positions, tendencies, accessories, coaches, ratings for coaches, years pro for coaches, profiles, no generic faces. But seriously im chill out and have no problem with critisizm, im just defending my work, where it looks ok for me. I can agree with potential, i dont know why i forget about this, this will be fixed for sure, because this is one of my points to make good roster. And well, i think i can wish u good fun with urb even if something is wrong.
skoadam wrote:Dude u're wrong. 1 season is rookie season always in 2k. Never in 2k history, i never see 0 years from original rosters, NEVER. Whats more? U are only one who sets 0, dude u dont know what u talking about. Check Albys, Meds, Hawks last year, every retro seasons are with "1 year pro" for all rookies. And thats the facts. Dude u are step away for admin call, because i dont like the way u talk with me.
And one more, im not against retro, i always have huge respect for his work and he know about this. What im talking about that u are not fair with your scale. U write about graphical in retroman roster, nothing in mine. So im asking, whats wrong with graphical things with my roster. Whats the difference?

Are you serious?!?! You must be f-kidding me! You are the one trashing me and using "wtf" and crying like a baby for positive reviews after you admit you did wrong by not telling people there are missing bits in your uploaded files? Have you even checked my roster file at all to end this stupid discussion about THERE IS a 0 level experience for the rookies in 2K13? 2K13 IS NOT 2K12! It looks like 2K learned something after all... Do you understand how that thing works? Rookies start with 0 and the next season they will have 1 year experience instead of 2 (your version) because they PLAYED ONLY 1 season and not 2. Anyway, I am gonna shut my mouth now before the drama queen that you are bursts in tears...
skoadam wrote:Yes shut yout mouth because you still dont understand that u're wrong. I already know that u dont know what is editing. 2k isnt learn nothing. IN 2k12 "0" years is avaible to, but why every GOOD roster maker never use this?
skoadam wrote:No it is not closed. You did not answer my question. And btw why u talk about 2k11. Im talking about 2k12. There was easy possibilty to set 0 via reditor and every solid roster maker know about this. So once again, why no one(even 2k) from last two years never use "0 year" for rookies? I can give you a tip, it is not because of their(mine) HUGE EGO.

Yes, I answered your question but you are too high on something to see it clearly... I said patchers had the number 0 issue since 2K11 and I guess they were afraid to use it ever since. Although number 0 is now completely usable they are still reluctant and you are the best example of this! You STILL refuse to believe me and you prefer wasting your time with these posts instead of using my tip and make the rookies on your roster file more accurate. There isn't much left to tell really: I showed you a "door", I cannot force you to enter if you are stubborn...

It does admittedly invite confusion, as many listings (as well as NBA Live) utilise the former definition/interpretation of the term while NBA 2K13 uses the latter. It threw me at first as well, as I was more accustomed to the "previous experience" approach to that data.
portlandblazer wrote:sorry levynagy but skoadam is %100 correct about the years pro thing. i think you got hung up on the term "years pro", it sounds like the amount of years the player HAS played when in actually it means the year the player is in as a pro. simply simming a season and seeing who gets all rookie team would have saved you all this arguing.
