jjoe, nope. ASAID handles a lot of things, but it can be arbitrarily changed and doesn't affect the player's audio AFAIK.

Thanks. So there are no possible editors yet for that one? Its kinda awkward during end of quarters where they advertise the magazines narrating your nickname, or without saying any name.

Is there a way to use this get my roster to my xbox without using chromes roster resigner? Like a different way to resign it?

Leftos, has anything changed regarding assigning Away Shoe Color for players in recent versions? I didn't see it noted anywhere, but I'm getting some strange results when editing the NCAA roster, and I'm not sure if it's a roster issue, or if I missed something in a program update that seems to have colors switching, but only Away.

From the changelog (What's New.txt file included in the 7z package):

v0.23.0.1
- Fixed ShAwayTeam1 and ShAwayBase that were switched

I saw that, but then I checked my old NBA file and didn't realize the colors had switched, I just knew they were showing properly in-game and the others weren't. D'oh! Sorry about that. Thank you.

Hey .. quick question.

I'm very interested in the Playbooks Tab. Basically I want to edit the current MyPlayer Playbook (on which I have no control in-game) and I want to add and remove plays to create a similar playbook with the one I use in Online Associations.
So.

1st step - from the Teams and Staff Tabs you can figure out what number is each team and what playbook they use.. let's take for example #5 : the Celtics.
2nd .. If we check the PB Tab in the Editor (the thing I pasted in code) and the in-game Default Celtic Playbook (options/playbook/edit offense) the numbers will obviously be the same .
50 plays in-game and 50 codes in the Roster Editor.
In-game screen - http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/8630/2013031300004.jpg
Code: Select all
playbook #5    - celtics.
0DF61D02   256A84BE   9426D7B2   872AC53F   80903A8F   96A4AE62   D239DC3B   43103EA4   AB07281F   C22D7E97   CA0776BB   C01CD4AD   D2B99A6C   862F3528   263657C2   6C77AA56   783238A4   186B46B9   0388EC0D   2B031CF6   4426B053   4F748AC2   C637B804   045A0E4B   1D6BD8C4   A249AA1E   E3EF8991   AEF144EB   EAAC3685   AC2D8F40   A19206B6   6569EC98   DE280EA5   15CA1C4E   2684686C   A339D0BA   5C509DAD   7F4B2649   D25DA4DB   D097B024   6DCADCE2   05D953BB   41D331D9   BB6213E1   7D276FB5   38E4BF83   36F685A2   2952C757   968A7F51   449C1AD9

And now it gets tricky ...as you can see from the screenshot the plays are not arranged alphabetically .. but random ? or by type? either way .. I want to find out how are they arranged in the Roster Editor . Alphabetically or in the same order as they're arranged in-game ?
This way I can easily identify them and for example .. if I want to remove "20 stretch" I'd know what code to remove .. the 5th code or the 1st.

Thanks :)

Playbooks are detected by looking for the default play of the 76ers playbook, which means the tab stops working if you change the first play of the 76ers playbook. To make it work again, open a roster that's based on the same 2K roster (for example your roster before the playbook edits), note the CustomPlaybookOffset and Bit, open the edited roster, apply the custom offsets in the Options tab, and save the Options tab. You have to do that every time, but there's no better way to handle this from the limited knowledge I have of roster decoding.

Besides that, and to answer what you're asking, I have no idea how the order of the plays in the tool corresponds to the order of the plays in the game. You can only find out yourself by making a change in-game and then seeing how the playbook of the team has changed in the editor.

Can I changed team names with the tool? i.e. replace Sacramento Kings with Seattle Supersonics?

Are rookies that have been loaded into an association able to be edited with the roster editor? If so what Team ID would they have?

EDIT: I will calrify a little more, since starting my association and choosing a draft class, more up to date draft classes have been released. Is it possible for me to import the draft class members from the latest draft class file into my association? Or am I going to have to edit the players manually through the game?

Mark., if you can discern which players were part of the draft class, sure. Thinks that could help are ASA_ID, BirthYear, BirthMonth, BirthDay, and any other things that are unique in the players in the draft class. They shouldn't have a TeamID really, they should be hidden until they're drafted. Since you can't open draft class files directly, start a new Association, load the updated version of the draft class you used in your original Association, match the players in, say, Excel, and copy-paste their information.

This is where the Draft Year column would help.

Well, if and when I get permission from B-R.com to allow users to parse the real NBA stats, you could use the Recommended 2K Ratings tab in League Overview to apply some ratings in the roster of your choice based on slimm44's formulas and the real NBA stats. Until then, you can do the same by creating a real NBA database manually, but that's probably too much manual work.

Hi Leftos,

Probably this has been asked, but can you un-injure any player with this tool? As far as I know, the official roster updates from 2K have player injuries and I want to start an association with these rosters without any injured players.

Thank you.
