skoadam wrote:Well, i understand pain in ass but hey its little unfair post like you when u talk to guy who spend many days to create 4 season roster for YOUR one and only original UBR.
All you did was taking other people's work and making transactions on them and adding a few CAPs. You didn't even touch the ratings. Do you have the slightest idea about how much hour is spent on UBR and its season mods (The original ones, made from scratch)? I literally spent 10+ hours every weekend working on stuff, and I can only imagine how much HAWK should have spent, he did 90% of the stuff, just for the fun of it. Just so that a 12 year old playing 2K12 could still experience how glorious the 90's was, how beastly Shawn Kemp was, how a relevant player Juwan Howard was, instead of the old fart on the Heat bench. This mod has been going on for a year, do you think we had a player pool with correct ratings and cyberfaces so we could just put everyone on the teams and call it a season roster like you do? Every player was rated from scratch, cyberfaces converted from 2K11, jerseys made. I'm not bragging about how you based your stuff on mine or saying your stuff is worthless,
but you need to pay respect where respect is due.skoadam wrote:That should be best recomendation for you how you treat other patchers in YOUR projects.
I love how everyone is so nice when they're asking/requesing stuff and getting answered through PM, and when some situation arises where I can't answer or can't do what they want, they turn hostile.
skoadam wrote:Jeez guys u must lost your minds, are u really serious with that? Its funny from begining but now its sick and sad.
Do you think we are fools? Everyone knows
you chose that name because the abbrevation was UBR, not the other way around. You asked permission from HAWK23 to use the UBR name and did not get it. You still used it. HAWK asked you nicely to not use the name
here (Don't tell me you changed the order of the letters... I can see the downloads section too, you know. You uploaded the second roster as UBR again AFTER Hawk wrote the message in this thread)
skoadam wrote:I ask for permission HAWK, i got proof he do not tell me to nnot use shortcut UBR, he post here to not use UBR, so i changed, now you, wtf i cannot use letter U, B, R to name ma roster? Nbeatable Asis Oster its ok for u? Patching is fun, u forget about this.
This is not a matter of permission.
You're free to convert and use any and all assets from UBR in 2K13 (in case, everyone does - Giving a nod is enough. Hell, if it wasn't for rj86, inbar and Aloncho's work from 2K11, we would really have a harder time). The problem is, you're using the UBR name to lure and trick people to download your roster, knowing that there's huge demand for UBR in 2K13 and making them think this is the real deal, while it's obviously not. Instead of leaning on other people's work to get downloads for your roster, you should make a name for yourself. Why don't you call it Skoadam's Roster? If it's good enough, people will like it and you'll get an audience. If not, make it better. Instead, you're taking the shortcut and stealing the name of something you did not do, and when you're asked nicely to not use it, you attack me, try to gain the upper hand and say we're unfair, we're treating you badly and it's just fun and we're taking it serious. How is that any different from the "adimas" brand I posted above? Copyright laws are invented solely because of people like you.
Yeah, patching is fun, stealing names of other people's hard work disrespectfully and tricking people is not:

This is my last saying on this matter, I don't really care if you call your stuff Unicorn Brotherhood Roster or whatever, just don't take other people for idiots. Good luck with your project, hopefully you'll stop acting childishly and see things as it is.
