How did you get Rose and Griffin way back then?

Solid comeback after the rough start. Those 10-45 Wizards need to learn that you've got to play like that for four quarters if you want to take down the defending champions!

Phil89 wrote:If I end up playing in the Finals against the Heat again this season I might consider something new. Whether that be a new Dynasty on Live 10 or seeing what 2k13 is like, I don't know.

You could always work a break up into the story. Perhaps LeBron and Bosh will want to follow Wade's example and leave town...probably best to scatter them to a couple of different places though, unless you really wanted to get the Bulls back in the Finals. ;)

They should also learn not to have 40 point quarters whilst tanking. Don't want to raise suspicions.

Several years of failure could be a good reason to shake things up. But I guess the Wade deal kind of did that. It's a bit harder to justify trading LeBron; and Bosh was MVP last season.

Would you say 2k13 is worth getting? Live 10 is almost 3 years old now and it may be time for an upgrade. I was planning to get Live 13, but that isn't an option now.

If you did it in the offseason, you could pretend it's opting out/signing elsewhere.

I'm enjoying NBA 2K13 so far. With the new controls, on the "Absolute" setting, it's a lot more appealing to someone who prefers Live's Freestyle control. It's a shame the PC version is lacking some features and there are some sloppy bugs, but it's definitely fun.

I like the look of the whole trade system on the 2k games. The trade finder seems a lot more in-depth than the trade block feature on Live 10. Plus, it would be nice to have some new dunk animations that I haven't done thousands of times before.

Guess I'll finish this season off and assess whether to continue or buy 2k13.

I'm uploading a compilation of 4 seasons worth of buzzer-beaters and game-winners to youtube atm, will post once it's done. :)

Very nice. (Y) You're pretty adept at kicking it out for that corner three.

1/3/14

February 2014 Summary

ImageImageImage

February was a month that saw a few big-name trades. Tony Parker and Ben Gordon went to the Knicks, whilst Gerald Wallace is now a Net.
Houston rookie Lucian Hill took advantage of his newly found starting role by taking home the western conference rookie of the month award.
The Rockets traded veteran Gerald Wallace to the Nets for cap space and that allowed Hill to start. He seems to have taken his chance.

It helps having the right players waiting for the pass. Harden isn't quite as good as Brown used to be and he's frustrating me lately by missing lots of open shots. :x

Awesome effort to win that one. I've had a 50 point quarter before too, against the Lakers. Sometimes, it just clicks. :)

Funny coincidence that the last game I played on this was in Houston. Especially with both Harden and Lin on my team.

24 games to go before the playoffs. Tempted to sim, but I want to keep up my record of playing every game.

If that happened in real life Harden would have slammed the ball into his head.

It was a strange game really. Hunter was hitting everything in the first half, but he got into foul trouble in the second and it allowed me to reel them in and eventually win with a flattering margin.

Games like that make me glad that I managed to get Harden to agree to an extension in this reality. :)

Yep :x

I don't really know how I lost the game though. I guess I just didn't finish them when I was in control. Oh well, 20 games left and maybe I'll even face them again in the first round of the playoffs as they are hovering around the eight seed.
