In comparison to last year, this does not kill the game by letting PGs throw away the ball on easy passes. But on 12 mins quarters it really gives you a good amount of non stealing turnovers.

Blocking at 100 looks interesting. I also lowered the vertical by a lot and with blocking at 70 I still dont get enough blocked shots. So I might try to go with 100 and the lower it if needed.

Yeah, the Passing is a personal preference I set to balance the fact I raised defensive awareness and the fact that I still play really sloppy. I'll probably end up with it at 50.

I lower the Vertical with the theory that little guys won't crash the boards and throw down big jams. I played against my friend with the default Simulation sliders and he had three dunks with Isaiah Thomas. Blocking at 100 is a must and even then the CPU doesn't block my shots as often as they should.

This are my sliders which I based on EvanChelio from youtube and my own experience.

few notes:
- This are for hall of fame level - its a simulation type of game, so if you like to go crazy with 3 points shots over the heads of defenders and easy dunks, this sliders are not for you.

- Im getting realistic results and I like the balance between open shots percentage to contested ones, it feels real to me. No super-hero computer but he will make open shots so you need to play good d.

- guard the ball well or else the computer will steel it.

I will be glad to hear if you liked them or not and adjusments advices. (Y)

The scores might get a bit high playing 12 min... I believe you will get 110-120 points on a regular basis while on 11 minutes its surround the 100.

Okay thx..this slider is good for My Career? (using cheat engine) also have you tested this slider in simulated games..? Does this give realistic stats?

Btw.. using this slider.. Pacers lost to the Bobcats.. how is that even possible

Any tips on this slider.. I've used it in My Career mode and it's a bit challenging, I lost 5 games already and only won 1.

Yeah, play good defense - don't leave your man alone. And run plays on offense - don't try taking the ball to the basket every possession.
As I said, this sliders are for Hall of fame level, so yes they are challenging. They require a team basketball in order to achieve good results.
If you are a beginner or just like to play in a more arcade style of 1 on 1 against the computer, this sliders are not for you.

Here is one of the games Kings vs Spurs using your HOF sliders. I'm not sure what to do because I do play good defense, but the CPU just makes shots over my face or my teammates' face even with a hands on face. I do not try to take the ball to the basket every possession, because I do pick and roll for my teammates, but it dosent work all the time because they take jumpshots and would always brick it or either get blocked, ending in a fastbreak for the other team. I pass the ball also if there are any posting up teammates. I call for pick and roll, it will work but not all the time. And another of my problem is that when we are leading by a few points, the coach subs me out and then later the opposing team now has the lead. This is what I noticed after playing six games with your HOF sliders. I can't remember the other things the CPU did, but this is what I can remember. I might just try another slider, thanks for the tip anyway.

I am using slimm44's roster.

No problem mate, the sliders suppose to make the game more fun for you but if its not happening than don't use them.
For me it sounds like the problem is not with the sliders but with the Hall of fame level which is at the moment a bit high for you. Try playing all-star or superstar and see how it works out.

Started an association and have adjusted a lot of my sliders to fit how I want the game to play, I'm playing on All Star with 10 minute quarters, the game is immensely enjoyable and I've found that getting back on D & using the "lock down paint" option is solid. First game against the Mavs went in to over time with Kobe hitting the game winning three to avoid double over time. Then a come from behind win against the Trailblazers at 89-84, so far..I'm loving it.

Just my recommendation for fixing the fast break, I think the best place to start is to cutting the fast break attribute in half for all coaches. I tested it out with the Kings and Nuggets, who have the highest fast break attributes, and the game seems to enter reasonable levels of pace. The biggest issue is you can't really keep this in check in MyCareer and you cannot apply this to locked teams like the Dream Team.

What do you mean? You can just adjust coach profiles before you start My Career.

Yes, but the problem is coaches don't stay in their spot forever, if you intend to go far in MyCareer coaches will eventually get replaced, which means new coaches take their place. Those coaches won't be able to be edited when that happens.

I use the above sliders, coach profiles remove fast break (see the above thread comment in red about turning fast breaks off) ... check it out.

Also I combined this slider setting with Slimms Rosters file (All play books fast break's off):

viewtopic.php?f=149&t=88574

Fast breaks seem to work, but again, try the combination.

Im new to the game and but have been watching many RL games and after combining these many events occur and points levels over a game are more realistic.

few notes:
- This are for hall of fame level - its a simulation type of game, so if you like to go crazy with 3 points shots over the heads of defenders and easy dunks, this sliders are not for you.

LEVY’S SLIDERS (Superstar, 12 mins)

Postby levynagy on Mon Dec 17, 2012 11:09 am

This is NBA 2K13 LEVY’S (realistic) SLIDERS (based on many sliders sets but customized to my own style)

NBA 2K13 turned to be disappointing when I first got it and still is when compared to NBA 2K11 but life goes on, right? :)

To make it short, after I tried many patches and sliders sets from Operation Sports (most notable mkharsh33, Bizcanos, JW55) I decided to go on with my own. I used Alby's roster v.1 to start my association with PHX and I am quite happy with the results. I am 5W-6L after defeating MIA in Phoenix by 4 points. Prior to this game I lost to LAL away by 19 points. I am playing with PG locked and using my bench players a lot; my only tactics is to close out the opponent and make him to shoot desperation shots and force 3s then try to box out in the paint so my big men can rebound the ball. I rarely run breakaways, I play kinda slow and smart trying to avoid too many turnovers.

Image

I don't know if any of these sound realistic but hey, it's NBA 2K13 and anything can happen (until an official patch comes out to fix the many known and unknown issues with this game). Anyway, I kinda like my game now but I am aware of the fact my sliders may change once in a while.
