Stop Changing Your NLSC handle

Anyone else find this annoying? The people here who change their handles. I don't know if they are trying to get noticed or what, It's kinda annoying. And it doesn't improve certain things...

I know of a certain active guy that has changed his name 23 times since registering here in March. Don't know why, what's the point really. I'd like it if we had a thread here so that people would announce username changes, and maybe a reason why.

I'm not the guy who changed it 23 times, but I think I've changed it five times in the three years I've been here. I just changed it recently because I didn't like having my actual name as my username. My username before Cavs4872 was my name, Dan Podolski. The evolution of my username I think was XxCavaliers, XxHyperDunk24, Hyperize., .dan, Dan Podolski and now Cavs4872. It's just a bad habbit because I get tired of my old username. I think you guys are too generous allowing us to change our names. You should take the $10 route like Xbox.

Why do you think changing a handle/username have something to do with you or the rest of you guys instead of the person's own reason one of which it possibly makes him happy of the change and doesn't really care about you people because his e-world doesn't revolve around you guys?

File it under pet peeves then. Going to the release & preview section, I know everyone and what they do and if I've checked out their latest stuff. Tired of figuring out who is who, every other day.

It's also a familiarity thing, that's the only thing we have to go by here so when someone changes their name, it's kinda hard to distinguish who they are, etc.

Agreed. This is really the only problem with it. I just try to keep my avatar the same from before I changed it so maybe people will recognize it, but it's not really that big of a deal to me. I just care about getting a message out; I don't care if people know it's me or not. I'm assuming no one here really knows each other in real life.

I am the one who changed my name 23 times... however I promised my self to not change it anymore since I think Like A Boss is kind of a weird name so I just combined my two names to change my username.

I don't find it too annoying, it's not as though every regular is changing their username every day. To be honest, I'd find it more annoying if users couldn't change their own name and were constantly messaging me to get new ones, so for me it's the lesser of two evils.
