sj said he did a mass find/replace and that was the end result in blacktop. if we could find that lighting for the blacktop in the file, and then the non-skin specific lighting, then yes, it might/could be transferred.

Honestly it might be an arena parameter in the roster too, so in a few months when the REDitor is out, we might be able to add that lighting through the roster.

That blacktop lighting would be amazing in MLB2k, wonder if 2k will use that effect, maybe they'll get better reviews for it.

the effects on the blacktop mode is easy to do i think... u can get that effects with the first values i gave in 2k12 before..i just noticed playing blacktop just now.

okay guys, here's what i discover... there are two types of skin in the global that we can edit.. first the skin of the players in the staidum.. then in the blacktop (and also for the menu players)
the values are different from each others.
for the stadium the values are just like in 2k12.. they are just the same .... look at the pic below


but in the blacktop mode that have a HUGE difference between the stadium gameplay.. they have spotlight intensity that we can edit..

You've been working on it literally no time, and already have a great product. That Wade shadowing looks excellent. Why is it so hard for 2k to just implement this in the pc version?

Any noticeable FPS difference? Chance of a pre-release ?

I think this year shadows aren't even needed if you can get the blacktop effect, last year most globals over did the shadow effect imo
