It's funny how after the many resets, new eras, and new directions TNA has proclaimed over the years, the one that worked the best was the one they never said was happening. They didn't come out of Bound For Glory yelling that everything was changing, they didn't drill down our throats that the company was being saved, they just made the changes they needed to make and let their work speak for itself. Everyone in TNA has worked their asses off and done a great job turning around what many people thought was a lost cause, and I have no problem saying I enjoy watching Impact a lot more than I enjoy watching Raw or Smackdown these days. Don't believe me? Watch Impact one of these days and see what I mean.
Why Should You Order TNA Destination X?
Damn. Good. Wrestling. Matches.
If Austin Aries and Bobby Roode isn't enough to get your mouth watering, you're crazy. But if that World Championship match-up isn't good enough, and Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle and AJ Styles vs. Chris Daniels doesn't sell you, you may as well stop calling yourself a wrestling fan. The 5 X-Division matches are going to be head-to-toe spot-fests, but they'll still be fun. There's going to be enough high-impact pro wrestling on this card that I think you'd be crazy NOT to order.
If you're complaining about the lack of story being continued at this PPV, realize that TNA may not want to force its viewers to buy Joseph Parks and Bully Ray AGAIN. Maybe they don't want to force their viewers to buy the same Knockout's Championship match AGAIN. So buy this PPV full of amazing matches and a brilliant main event story being driven forward, and get those other matches for FREE on Impact Wrestling this Thursday! You can't really complain too much about that...

There is a ton of raw talent there and it's been completely refreshing to see how much TNA has improved their product in recent weeks. It's not just the talent that is being pushed but the way the shows are presented. They aren't even pushing the storylines the same way. It's very multi-tiered now with different storylines all primed to climax at different PPV events, as oppposed to the weathered formula where everything builds to the next PPV and then they start the process over. In the last week, they built some stories for Impact, some for Destination X, continued the BFG series with a climax in September, started the build for the August PPV and teased stories for down the line such as the return of Jesse Sorensen. They are giving us a nice mix of soap opera, athletics and old school wrestling, while teasing things for down the line. It's been a lot of fun to watch and I really hope they can stay the line.
