I don't recall any exact figures but I have a feeling he's still trailing Cena in merchandise sales. Even so, that's not too shabby.

Just went a quick look at the upcoming PPV. I'm not feeling the Money in the Bank PPV. They only have 4 people compete in the WWE Championship Ladder Match while in the WHC it's consists of jobbers and Christian plus two more?. Also I hope the WWE Championship match is the main event this time around.

Is the last two PPV(Over the Limit, No Way Out) any good? I need my wrestling fix damn it

Nah. Dem kids. Grownups would rather buy more merch for the kids than themselves.

Over the Limit is a must-watch only because of the Punk-Bryan match. With No Way Out, both world title matches are good.

With that last PPV over now though, I just realized that since the Elimination Chamber PPV (I'm not counting the Royal Rumble), all main events are Cena matches and they are all non-title. Talk about giving their champions the spotlight.

Yeah, that's definitely a disappointing trend. It's been refreshing that he's been taken out of the title picture momentarily and gone a while without holding either belt, but he's still main eventing. Given the fact he is a huge draw, he should be high up there on the card, but the champs should be given a chance to close out PPVs.

9 Reasons to be Watching TNA
  • Impact Wrestling is now live every week
  • They're working hard to develop new ideas
  • Coherent, long term storylines
  • The titles mean something
  • The Bound For Glory Series
  • Austin Aries
  • There's a renewed focus on pushing younger wrestlers
  • The middle-aged main eventers who wouldn't go away went away
  • Hulk Hogan has finally grasped what his place is in today's wrestling business

It's funny how after the many resets, new eras, and new directions TNA has proclaimed over the years, the one that worked the best was the one they never said was happening. They didn't come out of Bound For Glory yelling that everything was changing, they didn't drill down our throats that the company was being saved, they just made the changes they needed to make and let their work speak for itself. Everyone in TNA has worked their asses off and done a great job turning around what many people thought was a lost cause, and I have no problem saying I enjoy watching Impact a lot more than I enjoy watching Raw or Smackdown these days. Don't believe me? Watch Impact one of these days and see what I mean.

Why Should You Order TNA Destination X?
Damn. Good. Wrestling. Matches.

If Austin Aries and Bobby Roode isn't enough to get your mouth watering, you're crazy. But if that World Championship match-up isn't good enough, and Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle and AJ Styles vs. Chris Daniels doesn't sell you, you may as well stop calling yourself a wrestling fan. The 5 X-Division matches are going to be head-to-toe spot-fests, but they'll still be fun. There's going to be enough high-impact pro wrestling on this card that I think you'd be crazy NOT to order.

If you're complaining about the lack of story being continued at this PPV, realize that TNA may not want to force its viewers to buy Joseph Parks and Bully Ray AGAIN. Maybe they don't want to force their viewers to buy the same Knockout's Championship match AGAIN. So buy this PPV full of amazing matches and a brilliant main event story being driven forward, and get those other matches for FREE on Impact Wrestling this Thursday! You can't really complain too much about that...

Good things happenin' tonight.

That PPV didn't disappoint at all.

The only negative was the crowd IMO, got quiet during some of the X-Division matches and silence during finishers because of unknown guys. Amazing wrestling and stories goin on in TNA. Great stuff. :applaud: :applaud:

Jaosming is trying to make us watch TNA/Impact Wrestling. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

7 years of gaining trust, just to turn everyone into TNA marks.

I'm just saying, if WWE is getting a bit stale, TNA has been on point

As stupid as the reveal was, it'll hopefully bring about some closure once and for all, never to be seen again. The All New Michael Cole Show should go the same route.

Funny stuff. From all accounts a terrible episode of RAW, hopefully with all the big names the 1000th episode will be worth watching though.

A good summary of TNA's greatness lately

There is a ton of raw talent there and it's been completely refreshing to see how much TNA has improved their product in recent weeks. It's not just the talent that is being pushed but the way the shows are presented. They aren't even pushing the storylines the same way. It's very multi-tiered now with different storylines all primed to climax at different PPV events, as oppposed to the weathered formula where everything builds to the next PPV and then they start the process over. In the last week, they built some stories for Impact, some for Destination X, continued the BFG series with a climax in September, started the build for the August PPV and teased stories for down the line such as the return of Jesse Sorensen. They are giving us a nice mix of soap opera, athletics and old school wrestling, while teasing things for down the line. It's been a lot of fun to watch and I really hope they can stay the line.
