A Samsung 46" SmartTV LED and a Direct TV subscription to do it justice.
Also starting some indoor modifications to turn the garage that I don't use into a good old fashioned man cave.

Needed some new running shoes and had some Rebel Sport gift cards to spend.

I have those

, but in just black and white. See a lot of people wearing them too. They're great. Play basketball in them too, as I don't prefer high tops.
Thu Jun 21, 2012 12:39 pm
Running in them the past few days, I've actually been thinking that they wouldn't be too bad for basketball as well. I do like high tops though, I picked up some Iso 2s earlier this year.

Extended my contract and got a Samsung Galaxy SII.

Loving it so far.

Good call, Andrew. I got a Galaxy S-II a few months ago and it's been an excellent phone. No complaints
Sun Jul 15, 2012 12:55 pm
It sure leaves the Nokia X6 in the dust.

Certainly pays off being loyal, eh 'drew?

I sold my Galaxy SII after 6 month and bought an iPhone 4S.
The Galaxy S II is a great cell phone with very good hardware. But 4 things really got on my nerves:
1. You can hardly recognize anything when you're outside and the sun is shining. That's something the iPhone is really superior compared to the Galaxy S II.
2. I also had connection issues (very bad internet connection, lousy speech quality) which is something I do not have with the iPhone.
3. Size. I mean I'm 190 cm and have not the smallest hands but I sometimes had problems using the Phone with one hand only.
4. Samsung KIES. What a piece of sh*t that program is. I knew work arounds, that made it possible not to use KIES, but I had to use it (for warranty issues) when I tried to update the firmware. I repeated a step for about 2,5 hours until KIES finally recognized that my Galaxy was connected. (I still do not know what I did different in my 18th try, but it somehow worked.

)
But if I hadn't had that connection issues, I would have kept the Galaxy S II.

Bought a big tool shed for my backyard, but it's a bitch to put together...

Beats paying for it outright, especially when the new plan doesn't cost anymore.

Haven't had any issues like that as yet. I just connected to my wireless network and downloaded the latest update via my fixed Internet connection, no problem at all. I haven't bothered installing KIES, I'm content to update via the home network and use USB transfer mode.

After learning of 2K's plans with the "control stick" for NBA 2K13, I decided to put away my generic analog gamepad and purchased a new Xbox 360 controller for my PC.

I'm probably going to have to do the same myself, but maybe a Logitech F310.

As the AdiZero Rose 2.0 I had bought was a big waste of money(the strap was as unconvinient as it could get),I decided to switch back to AND1 sneakers,as they are a great value/money option. And they were on sale as well,so i save around 35$ and got a couple of shirts as well.

Since I had bought a Samsung Smart TV, I figured it may be worth it to buy the USB wireless adapter to allow it to go online, so I bought that, and a better router, since mine was complete Scheiße.
Mon Sep 10, 2012 4:55 am

Since I've had Samsung phones for the last 6 or 7 years, I'm sticking with it. And I wanted an Android, so why not go for the best.

Good choice.

I got the S-II a couple of months back and have been very happy with it.

So I am getting a second monitor (same size) plus 3D for my computer (found nvidia driver hax to make it work) but a use for my PS3, and I finally get to enjoy me some 3D gaming that isn't Red/Blue.
All for less than $100 (on sale for $180 thru best buy, had at least 90 in giftcards over the past year and a half or so from xmas, birthdays, and deal rebates). Wife did the purchasing so I don't know the final bill.
Also, she did end up getting an iPad 3 to replace her original one, which I guess is going to the baby and not me since she's been enjoying these fisher price games on it.
And, we got a T3i DSLR, which, holyshitomg. I was just screwing around yesterday and took these.....

Bought a La-Z-Boy recliner and I ordered one of those all-in-one kind of exercise machines to finally start working out again.
Also bought a 320gb PS3 for some reason, coming with the Move thingy. Not too convinced for now, but I guess we'll see what I can do with it.

Brilliant gamepad, I've been using it for two years now and it worked like a charm, but two months ago, the R2 button kept getting stuck whenever you pressed it. I took it apart, cleaned it a little bit, reassembled it and got it working good again. 2 years (so far), is the longest time I've had a fully functional controller.
