May I suggest some tweaks?

- 75/76 Nets
- change Eving's Layup Package from Wade to Erving
- change Erving's Dunk Package to Lebrons
- change playbook from 41 to 47 (86 Hawks Playbook) works great with the team!
- change court ID to 77 Kiel Auditorium (generic court, better fitting for the team/era)
- change both Tim Bassett's and Rich Jones's Hair Lengh to maximum (Afro), I think when copy/pasting players in Reditor, Hair Lengh perimeters are lost, thats why they have normal size hair right now, has to be edited in game (cap) and saved once, to stay saved!

- change Jim Jackson (03/04 Rockets only!!!) ID 945 skintone (white legs, one skin tone darker!)


Also, I saw that HAWK is now working with rayhoops1 to make his 98-99 Mod compatible with UBR...If that is the case AND we are allowed to use his files, I have looked threw the ROS file and found some missing CF's we could use, but only If we are allowed offcourse!

such as John Silas,Fred Brown,Randy Smith etc!these players should have maximum Afro hair but in this roster they have minimum Afro!

It's not a matter of "hate making", there are 2 reasons:

- For the players with cyberfaces, its hard because the way the hairstyle is displayed is actually decided by the headshape inside the CF file. The only huge afro headshape is Ervings 76 Sixers headshape, but his faceshape is not compadible with for example John Silas. For the afro's to work, a modder would have to create a new headshape with that afro hair. I can't do stuff like that!

- For players without cyberfaces, just as I wrote in my previuos post, when Hawk copy/pastes the players in Reditor, these values are often lost, at least that's my experience!

I noticed Travis Knight from the classic Laker teams (96-97, 99-00) has a missing cyberface and arms. Any way to fix this?

Finished! But I've got bad news...there is only one player with a CF that hasn't one in UBR allready, Jeff McInnis!!!

But I also found some CF that could possibly be used:

AND, I've started a list with all the CF that are in the 98/99 mod for witch there are no players for on the UBR, but I stopped at the Heat for now, there are a lot of CFes! When I'm done with that list, I'll post it!

Funny you say that, because when I made that list today, I noticed that a couple of players have 5 digget CF ID's in Reditor, and Travis Knight is one of them.

I made a bald version as well, but, since I can't edit headshapes, we are stuck with a hornhead again, I believe somebody made a simular CF allready, but never released it a couple pages back:

I know the textures on the back of the head need a little recoloring as well, but could someone who has the ability to edit headshapes be so kind to flatten that horn on his forehead? PLEASE????

By design to avoid conflicts... perhaps I just forgot to change Knight's number... I'll look into it... in the meantime thanks for your list... I'll see if I end up changing any... I'll definetely add Mcinness... I didn't think the 99 mod had many other ones that i didn't include :mrgreen:

NOTE: I tried to make all these tweaks myself and something weird happened: When I changed Bassett and Jones from CAT to CAP and edited their hair, when I finished Jones, Wiliiamson's Hair also changed! I tried back and forth, again and again, but somehow they seem connected in some way....Also, the Hubie Brown tweak was wrong, I though of the Colonels, sorry! I removed it!

Just a FYI - we're officially DONE adding teams for this mod... I'll try my best to fit the remaining teams above that don't already have a checkmark... but I honestly don't think it will be possible. We've come to the end of the line with adding fields without me having to delete things that people will complain about missing.

So just a warning to anyone out there... I could always include teams as .TMM files to load as "extras" from here on out... but other than that we're closed for business.

I just spent like 2 hours straight and was able to figure out how to free up about 90 more player slots (without affecting anything)... there are still a few other things I can do on top of that... so I should be able to fit in the rest of the teams listed above luckily.

maybe after were done creating the retro teams to the limit, we can concentrate on polishing/tweaking the retro rosters even more. :)

That's a sounds a good idea, i totally agree with that and my teams are an open source for those polishing/tweaking action, but i want to point out one thing: doing retro teams means lack of enough information to "sures" and "perfection"... I made mine thinking nothing but create the basis for some future arrengements if it comes to a majority in the community opinion.

I tried my best to put those teams into this roster and really want them playable, for "n" reasons, but primarily a chance to make history. We never before saw those old classic squads against the new NBA teams, old champs against new champs, that's this game all about right now.
