I remember when "the eminem tape" came out. There was a huge things about it in the source (if Jay-Z had been racist it would've been half a page, damn writors are biased) and I remember there was a quote about saying that if a white guy that grew up in the hood or wherever around black people all the time and hearing that word multiple times a day then that person could say it without offending people he knew.
