GTX 460m on NBA2K12

Postby T-MAC-power on Fri Oct 21, 2011 9:35 pm

Hi everyone,

I just got a notebook with Nvidia GTX 460 mobile on it wih Core I7. I just want to know whether NBA2K12 would run stable using quite-old drivers because i haven't updated to the latest Nvidia drivers.

Is there any influence on GTX 460 owners with 2k12? I first thought to play 2k11 but it's too old now, note that i'm a veteran Nba Live series fan till 98'.

All the best :)

Hi,
Also note that my native resolution is 1920x1080 (1080p) which Nba 2k12 must run with.

To moderators: Actually my questions is for 2k12, so please move it to 2k12 forum. Thanks.

No problem. It was originally moved as the post referred to NBA 2K11.

:) Definetely no brag. I was away from NBA games (especially from EA's) for a while, that's why i wasn't sure how things are technically changed. Thanks though.

A more comparable weakly performing system is mine which plays the game maxxed out (except for 2X AA) on a 22"@1080p. T9600 + GT 240M = 59fps average during gameplay and a minimum of 29 during cutscenes

You could probably run 2k12 and 2k11 on two different monitors at the same time if you dedicated two separate cpu cores to each game. That is how powerful your setup is.
