CLIPPERS ENTER TRAINING CAMP YOUTHFUL

There is a new buzz in Playa Vista where the Clippers will be holding training camp in the comfort of their own training facility. New acquisition Andre Iguodala is fitting in nicely with his teammates; veterans Baron Davis, Peja Stojakovic, and Ricky Davis have been taking it easy but stay in shape and continually motivate the team during every drill, and rookie JaJuan Johnson has been running wild with all of the rookie treatment he is getting.

The Clippers youth worked especially hard in certain areas. Eric Gordon worked in improving his perimeter shooting while Blake Griffin worked on his low post game. Eric Bledsoe focused on his perimeter defense and DeAndre Jordan looked to improve his defense in the post. The knock on rookie JaJuan Johnson was his average rebounding for a big, so that was the first thing he wanted to get better at. Al-Farouq Aminu, a forward, decided to work on some guard skills to be a better all-around player.

Now that training is over, preseason is about to start. The projected starting lineup for Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Andre Iguodala, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan are expected to start throughout the preseason. But Eric Bledsoe and Al-Farouq Aminu may end up playing more minutes off the bench. JaJuan Johnson will also be able to show off his skills. Mainly depending on how well Andre gels with his teammates in game. New additions Kris Humpheries and Chuck Hayes will also get the opportunity to get used to their new teammates. Baron Davis will most likely have his minutes reduced as the preseason goes on and Peja Stojakovic is not expected to dress. Surprisingly, while most of the minutes will go to the youth, Ricky Davis has requested as much minutes as he can get in preseason to help him brush off some rust and get himself ready for the season.

Unfortunately Willie Warren will miss the first part of preseason, and possibly the entire preseason, because he will be at home in Oklahoma took take care of a family emergency.

Chapter VII: Help?

AT&T Center - San Antonio, TX
Preseason Clippers @ Spurs - halftime

KidJusitn gets up from his seat and begins to walk down through the tunnel

VDN, "Hey where are you going?"

KJ does not respond

VDN, "If you are going to get food can you get me some nachos?"

[..]

KJ takes the elevator to the top where the VIPs sit

Staff, "Excuse me Sir, can I see some security clearance?"

KJ, "Uhm sure..." as he hands her his Clippers GM badge

Staff, "I'm sorry Sir, but I'm not sure I can let you in..."

KJ, "I'm Thierry's friend. Just check with him. He will let me..."

Staff, "Uhm Sir, he is currently busy at the moment...I'm not sure..."

KJ, "Just get on your radio and call for him..."

Staff, "Okay..." talking on radio "Can someone get a hold of Mr. Tirieux?"

KJ growing impatient notices a bus boy bringing in food to the VIPs. The Staff is focused on the trying to find someone that she turns away. KJ sees his chance and hides behind the cart of food going through.

Staff, "Okay Sir, he said you can go.....Where did you go?"

KJ makes his way to the owners pressbox.

KJ opens the door, "THIERRY!?....huh?"

Bulls GM George Koukoulis is the only one in the room.

KJ, "George? What are you doing here?"

GK, "What are you doing here?" as the two look at each other confused.

GK, "It was Thierry's idea. Just wanted us all to hang out after the game so he flew me over."

KJ, "And how come I didn't know...?"

Suddenly Thierry comes up from behind KJ and puts his arm around his shoulder, "Hey what are you doing here??"

GK, "I guess the surprise didn't work, I was telling him about hanging out later."

Just then GK's phone started to beep as he goes to the side to answer it.

TT, "Haha, surprise?"

KJ, "Are you alright?"

TT, "Yea, I'm fine why?"

GK, "Hey guys. I'm sorry I wont be able to make it tonight...Something came up. Next time alright? Theirry, after the game is it cool if your jet flys me back to Chicago?"

TT, "Yea yea sure. Hey the game is starting! KidJustin you should get back to your seat."

KJ confused at what happened starts to walk back to his seat.

As he watches the game he is still trying to figure out what is going on. He reaches into his coat pocket. A note!

He reads it, its from TT, "I have info. Meet me at this address after the game."

KJ looks up and sees TT and GK looking down at the game, except it feels like TT is looking right at KJ instead.

[..]

After the game

KJ goes to the address on the note where he finds Thierry dressed in dark clothing that you almost can't tell its him.

KJ, "What's up man? Is everything okay?"

TT in a monotone voice, "Yes everything is fine."

but he writes on a napkin and secretly passes it to KJ, "I think I have info on bomb in LA"

KJ mysterious says, "I see...well tell me more...about how your team is doing."

TT writes another note and says, "They are working tell together. TP and my cousin are getting along well"

the note reads, "Ask bartender for a drink called "Paradise Garage""

TT, "Well its been fun, but I need to get back. I'll call you later."

KJ, "Yea, take care..."

TT gets up and walks out and a few moments later KJ goes to the bar

Bartender, "What'a have?"

KJ, "Uhm. Get me a Paradise Garage"

the Bartender looks at him funny, "Here"

KJ gets an empty cup, with a key inside. He looks up at the bartender confused.

The Bartender looks at him, then looks into the restroom

KJ gets up, takes the key and goes to the restroom, where he finds a cabinet that is locked up. There are folders inside with a note that said, "I had my team do some research -T"

KJ is about to open the folders when all of a sudden he sees a figure from the corner of his eye. He quickly hides the folders and looks who is there....

...nothing.

KJ leaves the place, gets in his car and looks at the files...
