Hey guys, i'm gonna show you how to enhance player tattoos that are textures on Cyberfaces, Many of you have been asking me about it so here it goes:
I'm sorry for GIMP users, this tutorial is for Adobe Photoshop users
What I have here is an exported arm texture from Lamarcus Aldridge's CF. BTW the CF is 2k's
Select Red Layer in the channels tab (since it's the lightest)
You copy it and paste onto a new document, then go to image - Adjustments - Brightness/Contrast
Make the contrast 100 and the Brightness your choice, since this one is dark skinned i maximized the brightness.
Now we are going to use the dodge tool, in case you can't find it you can see it here in this screenshot.
Now select the Highlights range (you can see it here in this screenshot) Make also the exposure by 20-25%.
Now we are going to start using the dodge tool, make sure the tattoos don't get lost.
After using dodge tool on the arm texture, surely you will have this
You copy the white texture you made and paste it on the previous document you opened. (make sure your channel is RGB)
Then select multiply. Now you have enhanced your tattoos. click on the eye beside the layer for you to see the comparison.
If you want to enhance it more, just duplicate layer (CTRL+J)
Do the same thing to the other arm texture that has shadows.
Here are comparisons:
Hope you guys understand
