I feel that Indiana is a fairly safe pick. The Heat might take one game, but ultimately the Pacers will prevail.

I really want the Heat to win because I'm a fan, but in my eyes winning 2 games would be a victory. The Pacers better not underestimate the Heat forntline, it may be small but we have things to compensate for that.

I thing the Pacers will win it in 5 or 6.

Jermaine O'neal is going to dominate and pacers will get an easy win in tis series.

I think indiana will have a hard time beating the heat. If we look at the match-ups:
Wade vs. Tinsley - wade is definitely better than tinsley.
Jones vs. Miller - jones is more athletic and younger than miller.
C.Butler vs. Artest - artest wins this battle although butler is getting better.
Odom vs. J.O. - oneal wins this match-up but odom plays from the outside and may give oneal a hard time.
Grant vs. Foster - i think this is a tie. Foster is a great rebounder like grant. Both are not involve in the offense.
The thing indiana has that miami doesnt is experience and deep bench, but for me its still miami in six..

GO HEAT

When will Jermaine shoot PF-C like percentages, not shooting guard percentages?
I'm still waiting, he did shoot 43.4% this season which is worse than Kobe (43.8%), stop showing us your new and improved mid-range J, go in the post and score in a high percentage or else you're going to lose when you play real good comp.

http://www.indystar.com/articles/5/144047-3155-179.html

Article has nothing to do with the upcoming series its more about how Reggie wants another shot at the title and what he had to do to get there. (Handing the team over to ron and jermaine)

Fav quote:
At some point, though, the Pacers will need more than his presence if they're going to stretch this playoff run into June. They're going to need his game. They're going to need the old Reggie, and not an old Reggie.

"Do you still feel like you could take over a game if you had to?" he was asked.

Miller produced the same look he usually reserves for Spike Lee.

"Oh, yeah," he said quickly. "Absolutely."

As a life long pacers fan it was a great read and yes the pacers will take the series in 5.

One big thng I almost forgot to address is that will Miami get wornout? They just played a seven game series against the Hornets, and only Udonis Haslem, Rafer Alston and Rasual Butler (7.6 minutes per game 5 games) came off the bench the whole series. Malik Allen came off the bench for 9 minutes total, Samaki Walker for 11 minutes total, Loreen Woods for 2 minutes, and Wang ZhiZhi for 3 minutes.
Can this Heat team keep playing at a high level every game, yes you get a lot of rest between games, but down the stretch in games will they be able to survive?

miami is a bit tired and fatigue is catching them...playing on a day rest for the next couple of games won't help them either.

The key for Indiana is Ron Artest, not the so-called "MVP Candidate" Jermaine O'Neal. O'Neal had better numbers last year and was shooting over 48% from the field, but that resulted in a late season plummet and a collapse in the first round to the Celtics.

This year thanks to Artest, who I think is the best all-round player in the NBA, the Pacers are going to cruise to the Eastern Conference Finals. Artest makes life a living hell for the other team's star player, by not only putting locks on him on the defensive end but putting pressure on him with his strength in the post on the offensive end.

miami has a big problem if they have to double artest. i'm hoping indy puts artest on wade next game...

but o'neal is still the key- no one on miami can stop him.

Like I said, O'neal doesn't need to be stoped, he stops himself, today he's currently 3-8, and last game he was 5-17, and had 13 points, and 7 rebounds in 40 minutes of play.

Anyone see that halftime ending three by Miller? It was classic.

O'Neal is like 10-34 in this series
Heats offense isn't working well mainly due to the Pacers D which doesn't allow open shots, they force the Heat instead to pass the ball into places of vulnrability

DAMMMMN!!!!!!!!
Wade is really good. How many point guards can lead their time like he has done. He's a rookie and the go to guy in the playoffs, kinda funny
