Sorry everybody...I've had a lot of schoolwork lately and it slipped my mind. Anyway...here's the raw list of the best players available to the Bobcats from out simulation.
PF Rodney Rogers (Nets)
C Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Cavs) (Contract)
PG Charlie Ward (Spurs)
SF Lamond Murray (Raptors)
PF Marcus Fizer (Bulls)
SG David Wesley (Hornets)
SF Gerald Wallace (Kings)
SG Jerry Stackhouse (Contract)/ PG Chris Whitney/ PF Christian Laettner (Wizards)
SF Rodney White (Nuggets)
PG Moochie Norris / PF Othella Harrington (Knicks)
C Kendrick Perkins (Celtics)
C Jahidi White (Suns)
C Shawn Bradley (Contract) / PF Eduardo Najera (Mavericks)
PF Bo Outlaw (Grizzlies)
SG Eric Piatkowski (Rockets)
C Adonal Foyle (Warriors) (Bad Contract)
SG Wesley Person (Portland)
The Bobcats can't take more than one player from each team.
First...we'll assume the Bobcats simply want to be as competitive as possible. I'd take this roster...
C Zydrunas Ilgauskas
PF Eduardo Najera
SF Luol Deng
SG Jerry Stackhouse
PG David Wesley

SF Lamond Murray
PG Charlie Ward
PF Rodney White
SG Eric Piatkowski
SF Gerald Wallace
C Jahidi White
C Kendrick Perkins
The Bobcats will also get the 4th pick in the Draft. Assuming that Okafor and Howard are the first two picks...that means the Bobcats will get either Luol Deng or Shaun Livingston to build around. For this first example, we'll assume they take Deng.
Overall, it's not a bad team. It looks like they could win 35-40 games. You have a post-presence in Ilgauskas, scoring with Stackhouse and Deng, and shooting with Wesley.
Off the bench, Lamond Murray is a great 6th man, he'll provide more shooting along with Piatkowski. Jahidi White will be some bargain beef inside. Gerald Wallace, Rodney White and Kendrick Perkins are a good young trio to try and develop.

Okay, with some slight changes, we'll be a little more conservative, and build for the future instead of trying to be immediately competitive. That means we won't take on Stackhouse and Ilgauskas' contracts when they're both injury risks. We'll also draft Shaun Livingston instead of Deng, as a 6'7" point guard is a rarity and he'll need a year or two to develop.
C Jahidi White
PF Eduardo Najera
SF Lamond Murray
SG David Wesley
PG Shaun Livingston
_________
PG Charlie Ward
SG Eric Piatkowski
PF Rodney White
SF Gerald Wallace
SG Wesley Person
C Christian Laettner
C Kendrick Perkins
This is a good team to win 25 games and get you a high draft pick. You'll also have plenty of young talent to develop. When Livingston goes bad you can slide Ward into the starting line-up, or put Piatkowski in and slide Wesley to the point.
If you want to try one of the teams in Live 2004...I'd say go with the second one. That's most likely to be your Bobcats roster.
If anyone else wants to post their version of the team feel free.

Cool.
If Charlotte do decide to take Jahidi from the Suns i'll cry with joy.
But i don't think they're willing to take any big contracts.
Personally, i'd start Rodney White over Najera or Murray.

Charlotte said they want to take Chris Jefferies off the Bulls
Bulls not inclined to reach for stars
Expansion plan: The Bulls are hoping the expansion Charlotte Bobcats will take one of their bad contract players--Robinson, Williams or Antonio Davis. Expect the Bulls to throw in the maximum $3 million to make it appealing. The Bobcats are said to be leaning toward Chris Jefferies if they select a Bulls player, because he is young and athletic, with a small contract, and that is the type of player they are targeting. Jefferies' Fresno State teammate, Harvey's Melvin Ely, would love to be in Charlotte. He rarely plays for the Clippers
