The Pacers have the best chance to win the finals if they aren't playing the lakers

sorry to burst your bubble, but as Reggie Miller said after last nights game, you can lose this home flood advantage very easily with 1 lost. You also gotta take it a step at a time, don't think championship when you can't even get out the first round!!
I don't know about the Pacers having the best chance at winning it all. Last time I checked, Detriot held them down to 61points a week or 2 ago

Also The Spurs and Timberwolves are contenders too...Artest may hold down spree, JO may slow down KG, but who is going to stop cassell?

Reggie said he's scared of the Pistons, and he likes being the underdog because its like an advantege in a way.

The Pacers are a team that is down-right dirty and plays a physical game. They wear you down with their immense depth and keep your point total low by hacking away at you. I hate those F*CKERS! Go Pistons!

I agree with the Pacers being physical, but they are not dirty. They are just good.

The pacers are a remarkably great team. Whenver I see a team play them they are not going to win easy. Jermaine O'Neal will wear you down to the bone and Artest will frustrate even the best players because he is so good at defense. Dont forget about Miller Time when the game is down to the wire.
This is the recipe for an outstanding team. If they make it to the finals they will give any team (including the lakers a run for their money).

The Pacers just drew a rematch with the Celtics, but this time they don't have Walker just Pierce. Detroit is the only team that really worries me in the east. I think they will beat anyone else. And by the way, DipSetVC don't hate because your team didn't do anything this year, and my team beat the hell out of them 4 times.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not hating, I'm just a whiner (Sorry about that my team sucks). I gave them (The Pacers) credit, I said their a deadly team, now win a playoff series before your teams' act gets tired. BTW, your team beat the crap out of my team by 4, 6, a game in OT and by 20, the games were pretty close if you ask me (cept the 20 point blowout). I also picked them to go all the way in the East, they can beat Detroit in my opinion.

I meant no disrespect. Toronto has a solid team, they just weren't all there at the same time. If they stay heatlthy next year they'll AT LEAST be the 8th seed (if not higher). Although I've read rumors of V.C. getting shipped out and the Raptors building around Bosh. IF that doesn't happen or if they get someone like A.I. or T-Mac they'll be ok.

pacers vs. lakers
nba finals 2000 rematch.
if it happens, it should be interesting to watch

no matter what Miller says, in a series vs Pistons the Pacers are not underdogs. They won 61 games, have homecourt and beat the Pistons 3-1

Rick Carlisle had his staff break down every defensive possession Indiana had this season -- more than 8,000 in all -- and the findings were staggering. Artest's guy only got off 9.4 shots per game and averaged just eight points a game. Add to that the 18 a night Artest gets at the other end, and you see why Indiana has a real chance if it gets to the Finals.
