Jordan airs out Anthony
Anthony admits the incident will hurt him in voting for Rookie of the Year. He said on ESPN's Sunday Night Conversation that it means "the Rookie of the Year award is slowly going down the ocean right now."
Anthony, battling Cleveland's LeBron James for the rookie prize, was asked Monday to elaborate.
"Yeah," Anthony said about the incident hurting his chances. "In my opinion, (winning the award is) not going to happen."

Who knows but he said that they talk sometimes. I thought he'd be talking to Lebron, but MJ is supposed to be Melo's mentor

I don't know what Jordan said, but Carmelo had 37 points in the 3rd quarter and was 17-23. wow
Now he's 17-25, hasn't scored yet with 8:37 left.

Melo finished with 41, which I believe matches LeBron's effort from the other day.

Sometimes good friends make for great rivals - consider Magic and Isiah in the 80s. The mutual respect leads to great showdowns since neither player understimates the other and plays to the best of their ability. A rivalry doesn't need the potential for fistfights and the exchange of angry words to be great.
