NBA 2k11 PC Patch Released - Impressions

QA still has the PC patch. Can't reproduce a crash, they're working on it.

I want to change my guess to January....no way they are getting it down and out before everyone takes their holiday time off

Maybe 2k should also produce a patch wherein rosters of the classic teams (jazz '97-98, sonics '96, blazers '92, lakers '91, celtics '86, pistons '89, bulls '85-'98, etc.) are accurate. It's quite sickening to play against players like reobert johnson, robert smith and brown over and over again when playing the jordan challenge!

That's a shame. I would have loved to see GREG OSTERTAG in a jazz uniform, eric snow too and John Salley in a Bulls or pistons uniform. Microwave Vinnie Johnson's not even included. I hope the REDitor comes out soon so we can have RANDY BROWN and DICKEY SIMPKINS in the bulls roster.

They usually blame QA when no one is working on the patch. It basically means: "it's very down on our priority list".

Umm, QA is how patches are made? Reproduce bugs / crashes, write up report on how it's caused and suggestion to fix it. Sent to devs, program patches, back to QA for confirmation of fixes.

but in the grand conspiracy that the PC version is the lowest on their priority list because they are trying to give us a fix the consoles don't have, then you are 100% correct Fadeout and should get a medal for your bravery.

So when the patch is released will we be able to download it straight from the game without steam and the other digital distributors?

when the patch is released there will be a page created on 2ksports.com for us to download the patch for the DVD version of the game.
