thank god i finally found a job. haven't had an interview since march when i still lived in vegas. moved back to california and went 5 months without ANY RESPONSE from an employer let alone an interview. it was getting really frustrating. now I'm interning as a graphic designer for a dance crew called Team Millennia (i think some members were on ABDC). i'm working for free, but hey it's better than nothing.

A graphic artist job on a multimedia outsource firm in Diliman. Just had my orientation with the rest of the newbies earlier. Kinda felt odd to me to be sitting down again listening to the facilitator though.

yeah my job is a graphic artist type gig too but it's really annoying because i answer to two people and the girl i like because she's more easy-going but the dude seems pretty set in his ways. he gives me a task with no suggestions on how to do it. i give him my interpretation and then he tells me how he wants it done. i feel like im wasting time on these projects

I'm right in the middle of a big project that they started me off on. I will definitely ask him when he gives me my next assignment.
they produce dance competitions (and supposedly they plan on doing a show in the Philippines in the future) and they wanted a new logo for it. Well, it was like more of a wordmark, so all i really had to do was find new fonts that i liked. well i gave him 13 DIFFERENT designs and a few variations and he wanted me to go with last year's design
i mean, it made it easy to just kinda copy the old design but i feel like i'm the adopted father... it's my kid, but it's not. i'm not the biological dad of these designs

yeah she's cute, i think she's chinese or something from her name but she's from Long Beach so i assume cambodian but she got a huge shiny ring on her finger. i really suck at telling whether it means she's engaged or married or whatever or maybe she bought it for herself

We only get Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving, so here's hoping we get tomorrow and Wednesday off. Loving the snow, especially since I had a test today and it didn't snow at all here last winter.
