Yes, we’re giving it another try this year.
It is our aim to petition EA Sports to release a PC version of their next NBA sim, ported from the Xbox 360/Playstation 3 version of the game. We invite you to support our cause by signing the petition with your name and email address, as well as voting in the poll in this thread.
Please help spread the word about our petition at other gaming sites you visit (but please don’t spam; we know how annoying that is and we don’t want people coming after us!) as well as on any social networking sites you use. We’ll be posting periodic tweets about the petition on our NLSC Twitter page (http://twitter.com/NBALiveSC) so if you’re following us, please help out with a ReTweet every now and again. We’ll also be posting some notices on our NLSC Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/TheNLSC), so once again please help us spread the word with Likes and link sharing.

The Petition
Dear EA Sports,
We are writing on behalf of the online NBA Live community to petition a PC release for the next NBA sim. We feel that there is still a strong, widespread interest in playing NBA Live on the PC, owing to the interest that has been shown in the two NBA 2K releases for PC and the enthusiasm they have been met with by current and former NBA Live fans alike, as well as the users who continue to download updates for the most recently released PC versions of NBA Live (2005-08).
With the popularity of other PC releases such as the Fallout, Assassin’s Creed and Grand Theft Auto series in addition to NBA 2K9, NBA 2K10 and NBA 2K11 to name just a few, we feel confident that a large numbers of users have the hardware or are willing to upgrade their hardware to play the next gen games on their PCs. We feel that a PC release would be readily adopted by a passionate fanbase with the hardware to run games ported from the Xbox 360/Playstation 3.
We are aware that a PC release does present some technical and business challenges, but as a community we are willing to work with the Dev Team wherever possible to help improve the product, as you can see from our previous Wishlists. We have also previously discussed some ideas to counteract the problem of software piracy, as you can see here: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=67705
