Help with Roster Editing

i´d like to edit the player ratings, cause as it stands now this game is a swat/steal-party.
so i have downloaded DB commander and the nba live toolkit, but my problem now is that i dunno how i can edit a whole column of ratings(with the toolkit "mass-edit" isn´t possible, cause most fields have different names that in live 2001). editing each players ratings alone would be a pain in the a**, so can anyone explain this to me, or is there a tutorial for that kinda stuff?

when I edit the players.dbf it gets saved but doesn't show up in the game
the game allways uses original rosters.
funny thing is when I open the editor again, the players.dbf is still tweaked.
Doesn't the game use the player.dbf as default rosters, or am I making a mistake somewhere else.
Please help.
Oh, and how do u edit save game rosters ?

znj, the save rosters are in this folder...

C:\Documents and Settings\big_stud12585\My Documents\NBA Live 2003\saves

that is for XP, dont knw bout other operating systems where it is saved. where it say "big_stud12585" that would be ur user account name so it could be anything, late
