8/10. Seems he's not a fan of the Jordan Challenge.

He's got a point about the need to force feed Jordan to get the stats but at the same time, matching those stats is all part of the challenge. I don't think it's something you want to complete in a day.

and do not tell me kobe fans do not try to score 100 every game when they use the lakers anyway. :P

i mean common jordan mode is fun for what it is yea some of the challenges are a bit of pita like that hold dominique to 25 pts, which is REALLY hard when you got the game locked to 12 minute quarters :P.

but then again that mode is pretty much optional to unless you really want to unlock jordan for the myplayer and the classic bulls teams. and i really do not get his comment that jordan is no better than a bench warmer, he is pretty much unstoppable when you get the hang of the controls, and he is certainly better than nealy off the bench.

now the online stuff that is valid, but i get the sense this guy just is not into jordan or sports games or both since n one hand he says it is the best bb game ever made but can nitpick the jordan mode for taking you out of the game. and dropping the score a whole point for that mode.

This guy doesn't really know that the Jordan CHALLENGES. It isn't mandatory. Ifyou don't like abusing Jordan, go suck some online players balls.

Gamespot has always been more strict and conservative when it comes to reviewing sport titles. Which is why I like it better than IGN. Besides some of the comments made about Jordan Challenge. And Nba 2k11 is one of the best games nba games today and for years to come but even it is no 9.5.

How can you appreciate the game when you are not even a witness the greatness of MJ during his prime? You've only saw him on commercials and news.. You will really appreciate the game if you are a witness during those days... You love and hate him...To many times jordan broke my heart specially those cruchtime....Ouccch....

With that being said...

Wilt Chamberlain = The G.O.A.T.

...according to numerous NBA players who witnessed him play.

2K11 is my game of the year, but I'd have to agree with the score, and really all of the points made in the review. Jordan Challenge is pretty lame. Stat padding gets pretty old, and the novelty of the classic teams wears off when white bald alien "William Smith" enters the game. Plus, the one online I attempted to play (against my friend who lives 20 miles away) was unplayable due to lag.

I agree completely with the review except the Jordan part. However, I can understand people born after the first half of the 80's not getting into the Jordan Challenges. I agree generics suck, but I'll just download updated roster before I play the challenges. It's not just seeing Jordan recreated, I'm actually enjoying recreations of Bird and Pippen more (Y)

I mentioned this to JaoSming earlier, but I don't give a shit about the Jordan stuff. I personally created all these classic teams and more (even 93 Nets or whatever for Tony just so he could play with Drazen) and just two or three guys created all the art for EVERY PLAYER too. Multiple times. The only thing I've done with them is play the old timey Pistons vs. the old timey Cavaliers or Sonics. And it's underwhelming, I sorta expect more, but it's all JORDAN JORDAN JORDAN THING YOU CANT SKIP JORDAN OMG JORDAN.

And I don't really care about it. I don't have to do that intro again. But then I read forums, and people are losing their minds over this like it's the greatest thing in history. People are afraid to post "spoilers" of the FUCKING INTRO VIDEO TO A BASKETBALL VIDEOGAME. I feel like a lot of reviewers and others are getting sucked into the jordon's foolishness simulator and ignoring the actual game people will be playing for the other eleven months after they complete the Jordan Challenge.

That's part of why I appreciated this review over the others, even though it's just as almost worthless as all others.

Well i am near twenty years old and have been watching and playing the sport since I was two. I obviously didnt watch him in the 80s because thats before my time. But I watched him nonstop growing up in the 90s. I have just about all of his tapes. And have seen alot of his classics so I think I know all I need to know. And even have one of his books. I was an MJ fanatic like all kids were who grew up watching him but now im leaning more towards Magic Johnson.
