This thread is not an excuse to spam.
I really did bought pepsi by the way. I'm not trying to spam if you thought that.

I believe you, but you don't see people posting in detail about what items they bought at the grocery store. its obviously for more significant items like cars, computers, mail-order brides, Jenny Craig subscriptions for the moderators, etc.
So yeah, posting that I bought a sandwich for lunch and a soda to wash it down is not what this thread is for.

And just to clarify, while there have been some posts on mundane purchases, the joke's wearing a little thin. Best we stick to (bragging about) bigger purchases.

6 cans of beer, Kokanee. Awesome Canadian beer.
Drank 1 last night, and I am all good to go school now. Helps me get to sleep faster sometimes.

That video card should play 2K10 ok. Definitely the low end video card in today's standard though. Shouldn't expect max setting I guess.

Hi kevC!
I will from now on only try to one up my previous purchase. Hence, the next time I post on this thread with my own purchase is after I buy a house a few years from now

I bought some (2 pairs) jeans. Same size, same place, same type just different colour. One pair fit great, the other pair make me look like some scene kid wannabe trying to self-castrate. Confusing.

Got the Magic Trackpad then downloaded Better Touch Tool. Now when I browse, I can scroll, switch tabs, move forward/back, open new tabs, and select the address bar by just tapping or swiping with fingers.

Martti., that card is super low budget trash. 64-bit memory and it's only DDR2. It's slow.
I saw a 3D TV first hand at the store the other day. Looks damn awesome. Looking forward to christmas, the family room needs a better TV.

shadowgrin, that's one problem. My last one burned out because the fan broke and this has none.

I settled with a GeForce 8600GT two years ago and it got whacked up pretty well. I guess your card would be pretty good if it's DDR3 at the least.

Got these and upgraded from 2GB to 4GB,and eventually i'll be switching to Win 7 64bit instead of 32.
Though these are 1066 Mhz ram sticks the two i had are forcing them to clock down to 800 Mhz instead.
But i got instant 4 fps raise on 2k10!(with 3,2GB usable by the 32 bit OS)

Why don't you take the other two out, change it to 1066 FSB with that 2gb of ram and get a 10 fps boost?

You mean going from 4GB @ 800Mhz to 2GB @ 1066?
Wed Sep 15, 2010 1:06 am
Yes, try it. Ram speed > ram amount.
Wed Sep 15, 2010 1:44 am
I will take some tests on this weekend when i'll have more time, see the results and decide.
(if i try to change manually the speed from the BIOS setup?)

The Prestige on blu-ray and a new tattoo.

Bought a replacement charger cord for my laptop. It works, though for some reason the AC adapter is like 4 times the size of my other original one.
