Kinda bit confuse with the WWE Universe mode, did they brought back the GM Mode there?

As I understand it, WWE Universe is always active. It's not quite like GM Mode where it's standalone and you're planning shows as you play through a scheduled season of sorts, everything you do outside of Road to Wrestlemania is part of the WWE Universe. In other words, exhibition matches count and change wrestler's standing within the company, who they're feuding or allied with, plus you can manually change that as well.

Isn't it $20 off a WWE PPV purchase?

It's not a single mode as such, at least as far as I'm aware. Rather it encompasses a group of modes and gameplay, but can be toggled on and off if you don't want a match to count towards anything.

Good to see some other alternate costumes make the cut. That's been a weakness post-WWF No Mercy, I know every year a few wrestlers get alternate attire (often as an unlockable :() but it'd be great if everyone had at least one alternate that could be selected before a match.

'WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw 2011' Exclusives Distributed Among Retailers

THQ's press release doesn't mention whether or not he'll be wearing cutoff jean shorts, but it does state the "The Hitman" will "be a playable character for consumers who pre-order the game for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft or the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system at Best Buy in the United States, as well as at any major retailer throughout Canada."

Alternatively, 360 and PS3 copies pre-ordered at Toys"R"Us will come equipped with the "Undertaker's "Ministry of Darkness" gear, whereas Amazon.com has received three special outfits for Randy Orton, and Walmart has an exclusive "Tribute to the Troops" arena.

Leaving those of us outside the States out in the cold and not allowing everyone to partake of the awesome. Yeah, not a fan of these pre-order schemes though I understand why they do it.

Seems to be the way of things these days to boost pre-order sales. It wouldn't be so bad if they were timed exclusives and made available as DLC later - I generally look for the best prices when I buy games new so if there's something cool I'd like to try out I don't mind spending a few dollars/MS points for some add-on packs if they take my fancy - but they're not, so we miss out and those of us outside North America miss out even if we do pre-order.

I say let the pre-orders get this stuff on the house with a voucher to reward them for their faith/dollars and offer it to the rest of us at the standard price for such DLC.

I'm pretty sure the walmart code is not a one time use code, because last year the code to get the rock was for unlimited use.

True, if it's the same deal this year then that's not too bad. If it's like 2K's pre-order promotion with Michael Jordan XBL/PSN avatar jerseys that won't be made available to anyone but Gamestop pre-order customers though, I'll be disappointed.

I'm pretty sure every pre-order bonus is something you can unlock playing the game, with the exception of Bret Hart (Like Stone Cold last year).

Good to see Batista and Shawn Micheals in the roster. The game wouldn't be the same without them to me at least

- The Best Buy version of Bret Hart will feature his current look in jean shorts and a t-shirt while a Legends version of Bret in his classic attire will already be in the game.

- Current Superstars who are no longer with the company were not allowed to be shown during today’s roster reveal except for HBK.

I hope Shelton Benjamin makes the cut, would love play the new TLC match with him and pull of some crazy shit.
