The Orlando Magic are a professional basketball team based in Orlando, Florida. They play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and are currently coached by Stan Van Gundy. The franchise was founded in 1989 as an expansion franchise and has had such notable NBA stars such as Shaquille O'Neal, Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, Steve Francis, Dwight Howard, and Vince Carter throughout its young history. The franchise has also been in the playoffs for more than half of their existence (12 playoff appearances in 21 years). Orlando has been the most successful of the four expansion teams brought into the league in 1988 and 1989 in terms of winning percentage. As of 2010, they are the only team in the "big four" sports leagues to play in the city of Orlando.

Nice idea for a dynasty. I really like the Clippers now I've been to California. They have a lot of great players in their lineup, it's just a matter of team chemistry I think. I'd suggest keep Drew Gooden there because he adds excellent rebounding off the bench and give DeAndre Jordan more minutes over DJ Mbenga... Jordan is going to be a gun (y)

Great idea for a dynasty and nice layout so far :)

Oh, and nice touch making Jalen Rose your GM.

Magic easy on their first win of the season

Image

Sixers 70 - 89 Magic

Orlando,FL.
With Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis going early in foul trouble,Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson had to take control of the game. That was no problem for the young playmaker and the 11 time all-star VC.Orlando won all of the 4 quarters and had no problems to beat the Sixers in rematch of last year's first round.Big surprise that Orlando scored only 4 three pointers when they are known for their great long range shooting.Vince Carter who played his first game for Orlando showed some hoops. He remembered to all that he's still the best dunker in the game with some gravity defying dunks.
Dwight Howard played a nice all-around game finishing with 16 points,7 rebounds,3 assists and 4 blocks.Vince Carter scored 16 too but he also added 7 assists. The highscorer in this Magic game was the Jameer Nelson who finished with 18 points.Rashard Lewis added 17 to form "fantastic four".Jason Williams played good from the bench with 8 points in 9 minutes.
For 76ers,Andre Iguodala scored 20 points and Elton Brand finished with a double double - 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Magic are predicted to go for a 2nd straight win over the Nets next night.
